home yourself.

Peppermint-Ginger Plunge

What you need:

Peppermint and ginger essential oils, available at health-food

stores.

What it does:

Stimulating peppermint invigorates the mind and body, and

ginger boosts circulation for a healthy glow.

D-I-Y:

Add five drops each of peppermint and ginger essential oils to

a warm bath. Wet a hand towel with warm water and add a

drop of cooling peppermint essential oil. Roll up towel and

place behind your neck in the tub. Simply relax for 20 minutes

and feel your energy return.

Olive Oil and Lemon Scalp Treatment

What you need:

Olive oil and lemon juice

What it does:

Olive oil leaves hair silky, while the citric acid in lemon juice

makes hair shine.

D-I-Y:

In the microwave, warm 1/2 cup olive oil with 1 tbs. lemon

juice. Massage into dry hair and scalp. Cover hair with

plastic wrap and a towel to itensify treatment. Leave on 15

minutes; shampoo and rinse well.

Papaya-Pineapple-Ginger Facial

What you need:

Fresh or canned papaya, pineapple and ginger.

What it does:

The fruit enzymes renew and brighten skin without irritating

like harsh acids.

D-I-Y:

Mash pieces of papaya and pineapple with a fork. Add a

pinch of ginger (fresh, grated or powdered), mixing well.

Smooth over clean, dry skin and leave on 10 minutes; rinse

well.

Chocolate-Sugar Scrub

What you need:

Sugar and unsweetened cocoa powder

What it does:

Chocolate's antioxidants soften and nourish skin while sugar

sloughs away dead cells.

D-I-Y:

Combine 1 cup sugar and 1 tbs. unsweetened cocoa powder

with enough water to form a paste. Massage into dry skin;

then shower as usual.

Hot Milk and Almond Pedicure

What you need:

Milk and sweet almond oil (available at health-food stores)

What it does:

Lactic acid sloughs off thick skin, while almond oil softens.

D-I-Y:

Heat a half-gallon of milk and pour into a large bowl. Add

five drops sweet almond oil, soak for 10 minutesk, then gently

rub feet with a pumice stone to remove dead skin. Rinse well;

pat dry and follow with a fot lotion and your favorite polish!

I am printing these out and I am doing that chocolate scrub!

 
The only thing forgotten were a couple of candles but I sure what to

try out that Chocolate sugar scrub!

Would white sugar be better or what about trying it out with brown sugar?

 
I haven't tried white sugar but have seen it in recipes, Turbinado sugar is really nice product to use.
