So, I just got done doing my whole skin care thingy, and my face is blood red and on fire. It hurts to move my face. Once a week I use Queen Helene Grape seed peel & then the Mint Julep mask. I did it in between my regular face wash. And thats noxzema face wash with those microderabrasion[i know thats spelled all wrong] crystals. Then after the Queen Helene stuff I use the toner from proactive and the lotion. Its never given me problems before. Right now I had a cool wash cloth on my face and the red it going away but it still burns pretty bad.

On the other hand I got smooth skin, But does anyone know what would cause this?

Too much at once! really! Keep using a damp cool cloth for your face that's what I did when i got fresh pineapple and it was all over my face from eating it and i had an allergic reaction the cloth helps

Maybe u r allergic to something in those products

Hope it goes away qucikly

But ive used all that all the time, and have been for a long time. Ill be upset if I became allergic to something in one of them.

Has it been cold lately outside?

Maybe your skin just decided "too much at once" I know skin has a mind of it's own

Well I suggest to keep up with the healing only wash your face

Ouch that sounds painful! Put cold milk on that wash cloth and that will sooth your face. Or use some plain yogurt.

Maybe because the season changes and your skin reacted to the some of the ingredients of the products. It maybe won't make sense but it's possible though.

I agree with Ricci.. It might be a lot of stuff to use at once. I have gotten horrible reactions if I use to many products at once.

I agree with everyone else Ashlee! You're using an awful lot of product on your face! Less is more! You don't need to do the Grapeseed Mask and the Mint Julep at the same time! That's overkill! Use one or the other. Try easing up on all the stuff you're using. hth
