I got me some Pratrica Wexler Foam Cleanser and skin reginerator today. Well I have Rosacea....Well I used it and it made my skin feel soooo smooth. Next thing I know my face starts burning I go look in the mirror and it looks like someone poured hot water on my face. I put everything on my face I could find to try to stop it from burning. Nothing has worked. I finally told my husband to buy me some cortizone cream. I'm not sure how safe it is but right now i'm willing to try anything. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for any help!

I am so sorry that allergic reaction happened to you... Definitely bring those skin products back to the store and get your money back.

careful with cortisone. It can help you now but cause more problems later by thinning your skin. Try pure aloe vera gel and keep your face clean as to not aggrivate the burn.

Aww, I'm sorry you had a reaction, I use that cleanser and it works for me... GL calming your skin down!

Shea Butter! Just use this stuff straight out of the jar. It works like a dream! It worked to get rid of my friends eczema, and it eased the discomfort of my cousin's psoriasis. Smooth a little dab of this on your face and in twenty minutes, your redness will be gone. Those inflamed capilaries under your skin will be so GONE!

The good thing about Shea Butter is that it provides an all natural barrier and defense for your skin. I would highly recommend it, but it's very rich, a little bit goes a long way.

Sorry about that. I am not sure what I can recommend but hope your face feels better.

Where Can I find Shea Butter? I've never tried it but would really like to. Can I get it at wal mart or a pharmacy? My redness went down from the cortisone, but I know it can thin the skin. I still feel a little burning in the face though. Please Let me know where to get this and I'm heading to get it......LOL :rockwoot:

Ok...I found some 100% shea butter at bath and body works website. Would that work out ok or do I need to get the big block of it from Ebay? The ebay kind is unrefined, but I guess bath and body works is like a lotion it comes in a tub. Sorry so many questions, but i'm desperate!! LOL Thanks for all the advice!!!

The BBW is called Too Shea 100% Shea Butter by Blue spa for 17.50

I went out and bought some 100% shea butter today from bath and body works. I put it on my face hoping to get rid of some of the redness from my rosacea. I have the capilaries that show through the skin. How long does it take to see some relief from the Rosacea Redness? I'm also putting the shea butter on my lips. Thanks for the advice.
