Has anyone heard of washing your face with pure olive oil, just like you cook with??? A girl at work says she has been doing that, and her face is smooth, clean and soft. I know in the Bible, olive oil is supposed to be like a healing oil. What do you gals think???? I wonder if it is similar to using emu oil???

I don't know about actually using the oil to wash the face but I do use an Olive Oil Soap and this leaves my face smooth and moisturized. I really love it

Yes you can do that, they actually call it the oil cleansing method. You can also mix it with castor oil, but castor can be a little drying. You just have to know your skintype to figure out which oil is good for you. And oil disolves oil/dirt real good.

I do. I wet my face and then massage in olive oil. I can see the sunscreen coming off when I do this. After, I take a wet cotton ball and wipe off the oil. Then I cleanse. This is the only thing that helps remove my sunscreen. It also takes off makeup as well. I use the extra virgin olive oil cold pressed from the supermarket.

i've used some on my hair once when it was really really dry. My sister uses it on her really dry skin, its moisturizing.

FOEREVER YOUNG OIl,..Is Similar Like Sesame Oil,..Emu,..Olive,..Grapheseed

In Japan For Olive Oil like DHC product is verry famous one,.

in young age and old age they use Olive oil to clean face,..and moist

I agree with Kim for DHC Olive Oil Cleansingt this work well for skin verry soft

calm,..and the most is moisturizer ,..I just be careful for Grapeseed One becouse i just use Grapeseed Oil for body,..

Grapseed is moist too lightening too,..but fast to absord,..in my 30 age old i just more be careful for cosmetic ,..read some for magazine and I founds somearticle about Top model for blend natural oil for secret beauty .

I think feel slick for moment but good for future becouse natural oil can always make woman in healt velvet skin ,.young ,..and that true!

i agree with kim and kaori! i started using dhc's deep cleansing oil after hearing so many good things about it! they recommend using it as a makeup remover of sorts and follow with another cleanser, but i have found this second step to be superfluous. it takes off EVERYTHING and feels so good rubbing into your skin! will not make you break out! i promise you will be hooked! and in the winter, i think it helps keep my skin less dry and irritated...you have to buy it off the dhc site though...they have a u.s. site (sorry if you aren't in the u.s. ...i forgot to check!)

also...my friend uses decleor's sweet almond oil cleanser and loves that too! they sell it at sephora.

Seems like it would be great for dry skin, as long as, you completely remove it with a cleanser. It's pretty heavy.

i have a sample of dhc oil, how is does it work i have no clue how to use it, is it a cleanser?
