Right now, I'm using Olay's Foaming Face Wash along with Olay Complete All Day Moisture Cream and I am loving it!!!! :clap I have a dreadful case of dry skin, but these two products have turned my skin around! The cleanser leaves my skin feeling silky and smooth and the moisturizer doesn't irritate and feels light on my skin.

Soooo, I'm totally thinking about trying the Regenerist Microdermabrasion & Peel system since I have so much dry, flaky skin and St. Ive's Apricot Scrub just isn't doing the job.

I'd love to hear what you ladies thought about this product before I take the leap and purchase it.

**Hoping this thread blows up**

:icon_smil Hi Lina! I use something similar from Philosphy and I LOVE it. It makes my skin like baby bottom, I wonder if this is comparable. I know it costs less and if it works as well then that just means more money for me to try more things! Does it leave your skin like it has a coat of moisture (kind of too moisturizing) on it or does it leave it feeling clean and soft with out any residue? Also does it do a good job exfoliating? and brightening? ALSO, is there any fragrance? I like a lot of the Olay line but can't use it because they only have a few things that they make frag. free:icon_sad: . The Regenerist is fine and I liked that around my eyes but it wasn't the fountain of youth it is advertised, so I was bummed! I noticed too that you kind of have to take holidays from the product and then come back to it again because my skin would get used to it and the results would just kind of plateau. Did you notice that? Oh also,on another subject, the Dr. Denese Vit C radiance cream can be used as a m/up primer I found out! It hides your pores and wrinkles and mattifies, no wonder my skin looked so good! Anyway, if you want you can just put it over your spf 30 cream which is oil free and use it as your last step/primer before makeup, or if you are brave, without makeup!!! Anyway, I will have to try the Olay microderm. If your husband even noticed, it has to be good because they don't really pay much attention to that kind of stuff! Thanks for input, ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> chermarie

Did you receive the philosphy kit off of the TV promo or did you just buy the kit from Sephora?

I like the L'Oreal ReFinish Mircroderm product a lot! No fragrance.

I now have Neutrogena Advanced Solutions product. I didn't buy the little gizmo applicator, just the cream. I don't like it really. I bought it because it was less expensive than the L'Oreal. But it has a fragrance and leave a cream residue on my face.

I saw this on TV last night, the Neutrogena product that is, and I told myself I would check their website to learn more about it. I like the little massager gadet! :icon_lol:

Actually, they had a really good deal on a kit with it in it on QVC so I bought 2! and love it! But I know they do sell kits on Sephora.com, the infomercial, philosophygirl.com and on QVC.com and sometimes they have specials. Other wise I pick it up at Sephora. It really makes your skin clear and soft. Check in advance for their exchange policy. I know qvc has a 30 day and philosophygirl.com has some kind of refund or exchange. I believe Sephora does too but I have never used it so don't know what it is. It is pricy, But, SOOO worth it! and you use sparingly. Give it a try, your skin will love it. Also be sure to keep the instruction booklet till you know the product well. I hope you find a deal and love it! Try ebay if you have tried it and like it, it might be cheaper, except you usually can't return it so make sure you like it! you might find a good price on some of the discount ads you see around the website! I will be hunting too!! Good luck and take care! :icon_bigg Chermarie

I have seen this kit at Costco. You might want to check it out. I think you got more cream then you would at another store for the same price.

I've used the Philosophy Microdelivery peel weekly for the past two years and a few weeks ago I picked up the Olay Microdermabrasion kit to see if it was any good. It is! I found it to exfoliate just as well as the Philosophy and it does an awsome job keeping my skin clear and smooth. The orange exfoliating paste (step 1) is thick and has a LOT of grit. I can *really* feel the exfoliation while I'm gently massaging it onto my skin. The lactic acid gel (step 2) doesn't foam up as much as the Philosophy brand, but it is a very active gel and definitely provides additional exfoliation. It heats up on my skin and on sensitive skin it can sting a bit. After massaging this into the orange paste for a minute, rinsing is easy and I don't feel like I need a cleanser to remove residue. I don't have many scars to fade, but it does give radiance to my skin by increasing my skin's light reflectivity on my cheeks and forehead.

:clap THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! You just saved me SO much money!!!! I have been using the Philosophy one for awhile now too and NOW I don't have to pay the big price and go through the hassle of going to get it or ordering it. I can just go down to the local drugstore, or whatever and get one that works the same!! I thought nothing could compare but it is good to know that there is one that does and costs LESS THAN HALF THE COST!!! I am SO excited to try the Olay that I can't wait till I run out of the Philosophy! Thanks for sharing!!!!:icon_love Chermarie

:icon_bigg I get my Philosophy kits usually from QVC because sometimes they have them on sale as a today's special value or they have kits on there that they don't have anywhere else. Also sometimes they have things on flex pay where you can pay for the kit over 2-3 months. The one on the infomercial is good if you know you like it and it will be your constant skin care and dont' mind the club thing. I don't care for the club thing so I just buy when I need so I go QVC or Sephora, or I also go online on Philosophy.com and you can get anything you want there! They also have specials and samples and stuff with their orders. I hope this helps:icon_bigg Chermarie

I just wanted to comment that I love the Olay Regenerist line. I have been using the Regenerist Daily Syrum before my moisturizer and I absolutely love the way it makes my skin look. Smooths everything out and helps give a flawless look with foundation

You're welcome! I'm really in love with the Regenerist. It's sooo similar to the Philosophy product that I'm sure you'll love it too! Of course, I love not having to spend so much $$. :icon_love

Thanks! I'm going to have to check this out. Right now I'm using DHC and it's great, but I would love to have a serum to add to my routine.

Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion & Peel System got great reviews from another makeup website. I also really like their Renegerist pdt. line--leaves my skin smooth and supple.

:icon_smil Hi Princess! I am glad to hear that the Olay foaming face wash and the moisture is really helping your dry skin. It is just another thing I can put in my book of helps and tips in case someone I know has the same thing! I am so glad you shared that because, having oily/combo skin, I know nothing about what products work on dry skin, so thank you for posting and sharing with us. As far as the Microdermabrasion & Peel system, I think it might really help get rid of the dry patches and smooth out the texture and bring new, younger skin to the surface and THAT will help absorb your moisture better because there are no dead cells or any gunk blocking your pores. I haven't used the Olay system yet but I can't wait to get it when I run out of my Philosophy system. It is the exact same thing as the expensive Philosophy one (another Philosophy user tried it and said she was changing to the Olay!), the only difference that she noticed is that the clear activating lotion didn't foam quite as much and it got warm on the skin and felt tingly (which to me is OK cuz it means it is exfoliating and WORKING!). You only need to do it once a week and if it is like the expensive brand like she said, it will REALLY make your skin smooth and soft! AND your moisture and makeup will go on better! Post after you use it and let us know how you like it and how it worked for you. I would love to know the difference it makes in dry skin! I can't wait to hear the results! AND I can't wait to try it myself and save all that money that I would have spent on the Philosophy system! That will be the BEST part! I hope we hear from you soon! :icon_love Chermarie
