i've heard some good things about this moisturizer and think i want to give it a try. now, every time i switch moisturizers i end up back to my tried and true sundari, but the olay definity says that it reduces the appearance of pores and even skin tone. i'm still happy with the mama lotion, but i'd like to take a break for a while. has anyone tried this product and are the claims even close to true? thanks!

i got a sample tube about 3 weeks ago , and IMHO its just like estee lauder idealist, except its got this opalescent look to it.... i only had a sample so im not sure on the long terms effects from it, but its sooooo soft when it dries on your skin, its definately evens out skin tone, or it did on me anyways. but i truly believe that you have to use it for a while to notice a BIG difference, but i say get it , its cheaper then EL stuff which is $50 an ounce! i am going to get myself a fullsize of the Olay defenity, because its sooooo similar to EL! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> hope that helped ya!

i love estee lauder idealist so i may have to try this thanks for the info!!

My mom just started using this and the only one she doesn't like is the foaming moisturizer. Other than that she really likes the way it feels and how it makes her skin look.

that's the one i want! my skin is pretty oily so i think that it might be ok for me. does your mom have dry skin?

i just filled out the sample request. you're right about the price! it's also cheaper than the moisturizer i'm using right now, so that's a plus! i've never tried estee lauder, so i don't have a point of reference, but i love the fact that you like it and i think it's definitely worth a try! thanks for the rec, rlise!

My mom's skin is actually combo/oily (even now at 57). What she doesn't like is that you have to shake up the container first and she feels like she's not going to get the most out of the packaging, if that makes sense. It's kinda like an aerosol can.

My mom has been using the lotion one for a while now and she really likes it, and it does what it says it's suppose to do. Her skin is normal and had some discoloration and it definitly got rid of the colour problem!

I tried it too and I liked it a lot! I just tried a sample and I'm planning to get the full size product

well there are 3 different defenity products and supposedly in order to see the reults within i think 4 weeks, your suppose to use all 3 .

the sample you get is the cream in a jar i believe (but the sample is a tiny tube) i liked the cream , so thats what i plan to get !

i totally understand what she's saying. at $28 you want to use every single drop!

I've been using this 2 weeks now. I am using the cream. It has a translucent clear opal look to it and a light pleasant frangrance.

So far I am impressed. I thought I was going to have to wait 3-4 weeks before I noticed anything and it was almost immediate. After 3 days I noticed pores seemed a little tighter, over all my skin was firmer and since I am recovering from a major skin infection I have lots of redness and it really has seemed to speed up the healing and turn over time.

Its goes on really smooth and it seems to me that when used under make up...it performs similarly to a primer. Its not greasy at all but hydrating...i.e. feels like you just got outta the shower and pat dried water off skin...but skin is still not all the way dry. Ok not sure if anyone will understand what the heck i'm trying to say here but....it dont feel like you are rubbing a layer of vaseline on your face like some stuff does. Its more fresh and once it soaks in and your skin stays moist (not wet) in much the same way as it does when you have just gotten outta the shower.

I love the stuff and am gonna keep using it and see if and when I begin to notice the age spot and hyperpigmentation ligtening effects, IF there are any.

Thumbs up for me! I have used $108 Kinerase moisturizer in the past that made lots of claims but never performed, it does not compete with the Olay. Olay had noticeable impact in 3 days.

i understand exactly what you mean and that's exactly what i'm looking for! i'm definitely picking this up asap! noticable impact in 3 days! that's amazing! thanks for the rec, artisiticchick!

I've been looking at that Olay one, it says the glucosamine in it lightens the skin, I wanna buy it for the hyperpigmentation spots. If anyone sees any lightening effects, let us know...
