C.O. Bigelow's SPF15 Extra-Light Oil-Free Face Lotion

my skin type is weird. As soon as I wash my face, it starts drying out real quickly so i need moisturizer but as the day goes on it just get oilier and oilier and my skin actually looks dirty! It made me so sad that my face only looked it's best for the first 10 minutes after washing and I just progressively looked more and more yucky through the day. I CANNOT wear powder because it gives me more acne. I tried to switch up toners, cleansers, and moisturizers for years! to keep that "my face just gets worse and worse looking throughout the day" feeling away. I would NEVER eat greasy food outdoors unless I could wash my face somewhere because it would make my face even more oily.

But I've been using this stuff for four days now and OMG my face looks so good (to my standards) by the end of the day. It absorbs in at lightening speed. You totally don't feel it. It leaves a slight powdery feeling which I normally hate because it feels drying but nope, it's a different kind of powdery. I cannot rave enough. This is the single best skin care find I've ever made for myself.

Oily skinned gals, or gals that start out okay but end up with an oily mess by the end of the day, this is worth a shot.

It was about 28 dollars for a 4 ounce bottle. I used to pay 13 for a 4 ounce of Eucerin Skin Renewal spf15 so it was a big price jump for me. But 4 ounces lasts so long and I actually think that by keeping my oiliness away, it may improve my skin plus i look SO much better now than i did before.

Thanks for sharing. I like CO Bigelow's products. When I run out of my current moisturizer I might have to give this a try.

They sell it at Bath and Body Works, the store

it's website is bathandbodyworks.com

Thanks, something to keep in mind -- though the $28 price tag scares me too

You say you can't wear powder because it gives you acne -- have you only worn pressed powder, or have you tried loose? Many pressed powders contain oil or wax to press them into the compact, but those ingredients can clog your pores. If you're interested in trying powder again, look for a loose powder labeled "noncomedogenic", "nonacnegenic", or "won't clog pores"! Just a random tidbit for you

I've never tried them, but I'm so glad you found something you love.

28 bucks?? Woah if you convert it into my currency it'll be like RM100+ zomg I can buy loads of cadbury with that. Heh. Aaaaand I don't think they sell here. =( But it does sounds lovely though.

That's exactly how I feel alot of times....wash, looks good, starts to look or feel dry, quick put oil absorbing or light oil free moisturizer on....and 10-15 minutes later....FORGET IT. Just gets worse as the day goes on. The oil is unreal. I've even tried using NOTHING after washing and same thing..... I'm ALWAYS blotting...I bet 10 times a day give or take, depending on where I am. Summer time and humidity is worse. I thought I was doing so so this winter and spring and then BAMMMMM summer, is doing me in.

I hear ya on how you said you feel dirty too, or how it looks dirty.

I am sooooo gonna have to look into this one too. Thanks for the review!!!!

sure! I'm glad you're looking into it. I'm so thrilled with this product!

oh and 28 including tax ; and the same moisturizer without SPF is 20 dollars for the 4 oz.

yea! for u ..... u're right .... the price tag is a lil scary .. .. but i realli want to try it now after your awesome review

Thanks for sharing! That is quite a price tag, but sometimes it's worth it! I'll definitely have to look into it myself.

OMG i'm totally the same type, grease just seems to excude incessantly from my skin, its like i can wipe it off with a paper towel and I only get the beautiful fresh skin right when I get up from bed,

what cleanser do you use?? I notice that if I use a soapy cleanser it strips away my skin so I've been trying these two new ones that have been greatt for the oiliness

i'll def. check out Bigelow lotion thanks!!

I'm happy you found a moisturizer you love. And I'll have to check out that brand.

sounds great

i've got the very same skin type .... i use oil of olay ... works wonders for me

as for powder i use Avon's or Loreals two-way cake/foundation .... it keeps absorbing all the oil my 'oil factory of a skin' keeps producing AND it dries out pimples if any without drying my skin.

thanks for the rec korina. even though i love my current moisturizer i do get oiler than i'd like throughout the day. this may be worth a shot!
