I have combination skin although I am more oily than dry. It doesn't bother me much, I can look ok in public. I just want to know if I should get into the habit of using toner. Will it really benefit me or dry me out?

Right now I simply wash, and moisturize (I really need a new moisturizer though). Sometimes I use Differin.

My skin is kind of dull but I think it's because I dont drink enough water. :eusa_whistle:

well i have been searching all skincare sites, and i have noticed that alot have oily skin type toners that hydrate but control oil etc.... so check out some popular brands and then branch off ffrom there! estee lauder, boscia, biotherm, bliss, clarins, aveda , etccc! sorry if i am not much help!

I use toner and i don't dry out from it. Some ppl say toner does nothing for them, but for me , it removes any last trace of Mu and i think it helps w/my acne .... (i just use diluted ACV)

My toner has never over dried my skin. I've used clinique and EL toners for oily skin, and my skin was fine with both of them. The EL one says it is supposed to control oil....I have yet to see a big difference, but who knows. It might help your dull skin, or it may not do anything. I don't think it could hurt.

i can't do without a toner of some sort. i have oily skin also, and although washing helps some the toner does a great job of helping to balance my oil production. i like stridex pads for sensitive skin. kind of an exfoliant and toner in one.

I was using Witch Hazel and that was working great, but I just started using ACV today to see how this works out.

i use Witch Hazel and Hydrogen Peroxide as toner. it's the simplest thing i can put together and it seems to work wodnerfully. doesn't give me that dried out feeling at all and it seems to realyl help with cleansing off the oil.

I dry out from my toner because it has lots of alcohol its formula 3 from Mary Kay but its good because that is what keeps my acne away is the dryness :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Its not overly drying though. Just good enough to keep my skin decent.

There are toners for oily skin, although I'm not sure as to specific ones as I don't use a toner...
