I have VERY oily skin and when I was pregnant was a big pizza face - not nice for any girly girl!!!!!

I am currently using Biostrat which is a canadian product that really seems to work nicely.....was wondering what other oily people use.......

:sheep:

I am 43 and I have very oily, cystic acne type skin. I have been on Accutane twice. Most of my acne has subsided but not the oiliness. I may go on Accutane again this summer.

My dermatologist gave me an over the counter product called Clarex OC.

Wash face and apply, apply make up afterwards. Availabe at drug stores.

Oil blotting papers work, as well as cut up coffee filter paper, to absorb oil.

I am also on Stievaa Vitamin A acid gel - Canada's equivalent to Retin A.

Not sure if it controls oil, but I have less breakouts and it seems to keep the wrinkles at bay.

i use products from either La Roche or ROC..

or you can try an oil reducer lotion from Clinique.. it really makes a difference.

my face is quite oily too. im using Dermalogica products. And the skin refining masque do help alot to absorb excess oil from my face..

dermalogica rocks - try the precleanse oil for a bit of the old OCM, this works a treat, and for moisturisers I love Prescriptives timeproof oil control lotion (and it smells gorgeous!)

I use Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque.

It keeps my oily skin at bay for a couple days, actually.

It's cheap.

i have oily skin too especially after doing hot oil hair treatments, i sweat out oil on my face, i find that using a clay mask helps

Hi,

I'm also a huge fan of Dermalogica's products (I have combo skin). Clay masks are great to draw out the impurities in your skin.

Some members also like Queen Helene's products (Mint Julep mask is great).
