think about it!

we are ALWAYS moisturized

we age a little slower,

if we know how to keep our oil under control, we always glow

I know it sucks that you breakout, or have a lot of clogged pores, but try listing a POSITIVE to having oily skin

add to the list!

great post, thanks for sharing!

my stepdaughter has very dry skin, I recently heard her talking to her cousin, complaining that her skin was sooo dry it was painful, felt like it was going to crack if she smiled & she said she had been putting tons of moisturizers on too! When I overheard this conversation it did make me a little grateful to never have to go through that. And I know my mom looks great for her age & I'm 34, but everyone thinks I'm about 10 years younger than I really am, so yeah, it's a good deal, it's just difficult to learn how to control it!

There is oily skin and then there is OILY skin.

I would exchange my OILY skin for dry skin in a heartbeat.

I know I'm a scrooge but I have no positive words for oily skin.

i have combo, and honestly my face is happier when its slightly more oily. it is always less irritated.

my mom has/had oily-combo skin and she doesnt have many wrinkles and she's over 50.

I always complain about my oily skin but my mom is always telling me how it looks glowy and I'm gunna be glad I have oily skin when I'm older.

Hmm so lets see..

-Less wrinkles.

-No flakes when you apply foundation.

-Less ruddiness/irratation.

-Oil control foundation + Blot sheets, and our skin looks healthy.

I have combo skin... usually it leans more towards oily but then I get like dry flakes too!!! I would rather it just be dry, to be honest... because then I could exfoliate and moisturize as opposed to being shiny like an oil slick. But no, I get the "best" of both worlds (sarcasm). Ugh, lol.

I got super oily skin from my dad's side of the family... and I have to say, for being almost sixty, my dad doesn't have a single wrinkle! Neither does my aunt, whose in her late sixties! She has a few crows feet, but that's it! Both of them look way younger than their age. So I guess I'll appreciate my skin when I'm old? :3

oily skin ages slower than dry skin, yay!! the only bummer is the shine factor which can look equally worse than wrinkles sometimes!

Sorry, but that's not true - oily skin can often be dehydrated. All skin types need moisturizing IMO

yea i found that out like a couple of months ago, and i'm glad to be a greasepit! hahaha i'm very oily!

Well, at least with oily skin you can blot and get rid of the oil immediatly, but with dry skin whatcha gonna do?pick off the flakes....lol ewww...
