i usually wash my hair in the morning(around 730) by the end of the night it's very oily. what should i do? should i just stop using the hair conditioner or what can i do? ugh. i can't stand it.

try Sebastian "Stark Naked" shampoo. It's the most clarifying shampoo I've ever used (I have hyper-oily hair too). You can use any conditioner with it, and your oil will still be controlled. It's very powerful, so you will only need to use it about once a week and then switch back to your regular clarifying shampoo.

i had the same problem a couple of weeks ago and all i did was change the brand i used and it's ok now. try that.

where do you get the sebastian line of hair products? i'm having the same problem--it's so annoying!

i have a question why should we only put conditioner in the ends only?? also ends get damaged really fast what should i do? what i do is straighen it every day do u think its a good thing

I use too straighten my hair everyday but I noticed I got loads of split ends. So now I just put it up, I'm trying to let it grow out so it dosen't look bad when it waves.

If you feel your hair needs conditioning all over it might help it (espically is its really dry)! but if your hair is oily I wouldn't because its only adding another layer to your hair which will make it even oilyer. Hope I could help x :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Chamomile will not lighten dark hair. It will only give a golden glow to already lightened hair

I think you didn't get me, my meaning was only that, "Most of your hair lightening products have chamomile in it".

You did post "Natural Way 5- Chamomile Before you try this, you should be warned that it will lighten your hair. Most of your hair lightening products have chamomile in it." The way it's worded does imply that you want people to think it lightens hair. Most hair lightening products I've seen do not contain chamomile. They contain bleach in one form or another, but very few seem to have chamomile. I'm up for trying new products on my highlights this Summer. Can you recommend any specific products or brands that list chamomile on the label? And can you tell me which website you copied and pasted your list of haircare tips from?

Putting conditioner on the ends only conditions the ends and makes them easy to untangle, which is what you want to prevent them from splitting. When you have oily hair you shouldn't put conditioner in from the scalp as this can make the scalp and hair waaaay more oily.

Straightening is one of those things that damages hair, there is not much that can be done about it, So, use those protective oils that GHD sells on your hair to make sure that the iron does not damage the hair and pay special attention to the tips. Also there is no need to over iron the tips. Dead straight tips don't always look that natural ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

  1. Rinse hair with a mixture of two tablespoons vinegar to one cup water, or one-quarter cup of lemon juice and one cup of water.
  2. Use an alcoholic drink to create a drying effect on the hair. Mix a few tablespoons of alcohol with a cup of water, use to cleanse hair, and then rinse with water.
  3. One-quarter cup of cider vinegar mixed with water can be used to create a spray that targets product build up.
  4. Use diluted tea, which contains an astringent, to rinse your hair.
