weell when I was in qld, my sister and I got a massage, and while she was getting hers, I read a book about spa treatments.

At the back of the book, there were some recipes for really good facial treatments, and I wrote 2 of the easier ones down really quickly so that I could let you guys know.

I haven't tried this one but I'd love to see if it's effective! let me know if you try it and here we go - it's super simple!:

scoop out the fruit of an avocado and mash it. Apply to the face, massaging it in gently with the avocado stone, then rinse off.

It is supposed to help the skin to look and feel softer and more moisturised. It's also high in some vitamin that helps fight aging but I didn't write down what it was since I didn't have much paper, LOL;

lol I thought it was b! but whatever. Some random one that does good stuff!

I've heard about avocado before, but I've never tried it. Maybe I'll have to give it a shot now. Thanks Rosie!

i've heard the avocado is really nourishing for the skin, but i can't stand its smell.

mm, people seem to be either big fans, or big haters of the old av'.

I'm not sure why. I personally LOVE avocado, cant eat enough, but I know people who feel a bit sick even LOOKING at it, lol

i did that a few times with the avocado!! and i love it. it has enzymes in it that exfoliate gentle. thats why those enzymes are in some face products, for example artdeco enzym peeling. which is like kanebo enzympeeling, only cheeper, perhaps some of you uses the kanebo one.

i have another hint what you can do with the core of the avocado after you eat it!

let it dry few days perhaps, not to long, then it gets to hard. and then grind it!

mix the grinded core with some oil, oliveoil or something and use it as a body peeling in the shower

People have also used avocado for home haircare treatments. I'm too scared to do it since the last time I did a home haircare remedy, it totally gave my boyfriend the creeps. That jar of mayonnaise will never be looked at the same again... haha

lol, I know exactly what you mean T!

plus, I love avocado so much, it's almost as if it's a waste to use it on my face or my hair! but it was such a simple recipe that I'll have to try it anyway.

well, maybe you could get some oil at a healthfood store, that way you could keep your avocado for your stomach
