Has anyone used the Obagi skin care system? I am using it now and I was just wondering if it has worked well for other people.

I used Obagi for acne for 17 weeks and it made my skin a mess. It is great for pigmentation. I just don't think its great for people with sensitive acneic skin like myself. If you have any questions let me know I have been to several of their seminars.

I don't have sensitive skin at all.....what have you learned from the seminars?? The stuff does make my skin peel like crazy, but I heard that after 6-8 weeks that the peeling will subside and you will have "radiant" skin.

I used Obagi - it was a just too many steps for my busy lifestyle. It made my face worst, too

Obagi is a very aggressive skin care line. I never stopped peeling after 17 weeks of using it. It has really helped alot of people, my mother loves it. I have found that this system is best suited for people with pigmentation issues. Using the exfoderm and tretinoin is just a lot for the skin to handel all at once. The obagi is basically like giving your skin a peel once a week

You need to make sure that you keep in contact with the derm or esthetician that sold you the product, they can give you alot of advice on how to lessen the irritation.

I learned a ton of info at the seminars, but it would take pages for me to relay it to you. Any specific questions you might have please feel free to contact me, and I can look thru the booklets they gave me at the seminar.

Hope this helps.

Ps the peeling might go on for longer than 6 weeks so be prepared. It all depends on the layers of stratum corneum that need to be removed in order for the new healthy cells to replace the ones you are exfoliating with the obagi. You can also lay of the tretinoin every night if it gets to be to much. You know your skin best.

I used this for years and it made my skin really flawless. However, it became to expensive for me and I switched derm as well. But if you have the budget for it, go for it! The first three months might be bad. Don't give up, then it will just be maintenance where you only apply twice a week.

Hi, I 've used obagi for 5 years, & Iove it. I quit using it last year cuz of the price , but had to go back on it because it wors that good for me. I think it 's more for anti-aging than for acne though. We can't get it here in Fl. without going through a Dr. though. If it works for you, it's worth the $, cuz a little goes a long way. I just stick to the basic starter kit products though. Hugs, Lindam
