I've never used that brand, but most "length" shampoos don't actually lengthen your hair, if that's what you mean-they're meant to make your hair exceptionally healthy so that it can grow out. I've had long hair for all of my adult life and it took me forever to grow it out-my recommendation would be to regularly deep condition. I comb my regular conditioner through my hair and throw it up in a self heating cap while I shave my legs-that extra time makes all the difference. I find that when I regularly do this (at least once a week), it lengthens the time in between haircuts significantly and makes my hair feel so much better (though I regularly get my hair cut and those trims also help quite a bit with healthy hair.)
I personally tend to stick mostly with high-end hair products just because I have personally had issues with drugstore brands either stripping my hair or leaving a residue; however, I always loved Pantene except that they used silicones-but I understand that they no longer do that. The only high-end brand that I don't like as far as shampoos goes is Aveda (sorry, I love the scents, love the body products, and wish I DID love the shampoos), because I feel like they just do not cleanse my hair and scalp no matter how long I rinse.
I personally would look into TIGI Urban Antidotes, anything Phyto that suits your hair/scalp type (though Phyto is QUITE pricy, it's like a once a year thing for me), or Davines. Those brands also make great conditioners.
