Not sure what to do

I went to the hair salon a few weeks ago and did ombre hair. My hair is naturally a dark brown color and it turned out really blonde. I figured it was too blonde so the day after I went back to the salon and she put a toner on it to tone down the color a bit. I was pretty happy with the results but now after a few weeks I am wanting to change it again. I am not really liking the ombre and would much rather have light brown and blonde highlights throughout. Im not sure what I should do...I feel kind of weird going back to the salon and asking her to re-do my hair. Plus I already spent $150 and dont want to spend the same amount again cause thats just crazy....I also dont want my hairdresser to get offended because I know this is mainly my fault since I asked for this specific hairstyle...I just dont think its working for me.

Also, does anyone know what my hairdresser would have to do in order to get the blonde/light brown highlights....would she have to color over the ombre part with a light brown and then add in the blonde highlights on top of it?

Ummm. Don't think they're going to redo your hair for free because of the time frame and a change of heart. They will probably book you and charge for the services.

yeah, im not expecting them to do it for free...hopefully they will at least offer me a discount.

Maybe, but I'm not sure. You've worn it out and about for a few weeks? Do you have a good relationship and hair history with this stylist? That'll probably help.

yes, I got it done 2 weeks ago and I wasnt planning on going back to the salon until the end of June. This was actually my first time going to this stylist.

I definitely wouldn't even expect a discount. It's a new service, new request. They'll almost def (someone correct if I'm wrong of course!) have to color all over your head and not just the lighter parts. You don't want to end up with two different shades of brown... Then they'll do the highlights.
