On the sides of my nose my skin is really horrible there. It is sort of reddish...it has been so for as long as i can remember. But recently when i apply certain products on my skin...like sunscreen..it burns. It's like the skin is broken there.

Any recommendations to have 'repaired'?

Hhhmmm...sounds like you need something really gentle and healing there. Maybe a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil and a vitamin e face cream of some sort? Is your skin oily? Just trying to figure out why it would be irritated there. Or maybe the Oil Cleansing method so many people seem to like here and some natural oils as a moisturizer? hth...

i second vaseline. it worked for me when i had that problem! also, try using a gentle exfoliator and using it very slowly. when i had that, i had dead skin cells and getting rid of them, then putting vaseline helped.

Well i exfoliated and out the vaseline. But while puttin on my moisturizer a little while ago...it still burnt. But i guess i have to put it for a few days before it can heal.

Maybe you're really dry there? I used to have that probelm right around my nose and I just make sure to always moisturize REALLY well in that area, day and night, and it finally doesn't sting anymore.

^^ I'm doing exactly that...put extra moisturiser around my nose area as much as i can.

What is the Oil Cleansing method???

ive had that prob but i just wait it out and it dries up and the skin flakes and peels of then i dont have a problem. i would think that since your moistening it its taking longer?? i dont used anything on it for about a week and it goes away. good luck i hate it when it happens to me =(

I'll try the extra moisturizing and vaseline for a week and if there are no improvements then i would try putting nothing at all.

The oil cleansing methods sounds good, but i have acne prone skin and i am afraid that the oil would clog my pores. I'm not brave enough to try that lol.

I agree!!!

I agree also with this. Use Cetaphil cleanser and their facial moisturizer.

Well i just exfoliated a bit with loreal microdermabration kit. Then i put the vaseline for just about 3 nites...and walla!! it doesn't burn anymore!! lol

Thanks guys for the help :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Hi,

Glad to see you were able to find something that worked.
