everytime i apply self tanner, the end result has a NOT so decent smell. are there any out there that smell great? my finace always says i smell like popcorn. and yea. thats not good. ...

i've tried MANY self tanners but usually don't finish the bottle because of the smell-well i finally found one that doesn't smell and the color is awesome! it's FAKE BAKE!!!!

Some of the Mystic tan booths have gotten better as far as the smell goes

Hey-try L'Oreals Sublime Bronze self tanner. Great look and no smell. Only $7.50 a bottle as well. Course Fake Bake is all time favorite.

whats fake bake?? would i be able to find it at target?

and i'll try that loreal sublime bronze self tanner also =]]

I also love Fake Bake but it also has that smell to it!

It is really, really hard to find one that does not smell. I bought Modelco from Sephora (tan airbrush in a can) and the color it turns your skin is awesome. When you put it on, it smells like cotton candy (I was excited, I thought I finally found one that doesn't smell), but the next morning the "tan smell" was back. Urgh!

Everything I've tried has a smell, some are a little less offensive than others. I try to stay naked for as long as possible after applying the lotion. Then wear very loose clothing so your body can breath. If I wear jeans or anything synthetic w/in 24 hours the smell is horrible.

I use the Neutragena Micro mist - but it smells.

Mary Kay's sunless tanner doesn't have a bad smell at all. I've been using it for years and the color is very natural. I tried the Loreal Sublime bronze and I got the smell with that one!

The victoria's secret Bare Bronze stuff isn't too bad. It smells like coconut.

I haven't tried it so I cant tell you if it works or not. Try finding reviews maybe?

oh thanks! i'll take a look around then =]]

I hope you havent used Loreals Sublime Glow yet, no offense to the person that recommended it, but not only does it smell STRONGLY it also left 2 of my friends streaky and uneven colored even a bit orange!

I say Olay Touch of Sun, I just got it and it smells soooo soooo sooo good. Its really gradual so you need to use it for at least a week or two to see results but I also love that about it, better to take the time and turn a nice even color!

P.S. If you use an exfoliating body wash and then apply your tanner I think it will work better! Isnt that what they tell you to do if you go to a tanning salon? I never even been lol but I think this is true anyways.

Coppertone Endless Summer is the best self tanner! It doesn't have much smell, and the color is so natural! You put it on and it 30 minutes your tan! I love it and I am a tanning booth person, so it was hard to convince me otherwise until I tried this by several recommendations from people, it is excellent!!
