I can't believe it, I've been buying it forever and its the best! Alcohol free, so mild and smells great, like rosewater. Anyway today, it wasn't on the shelf! All their packaging has changed, the only Nivea toner I could find was this:

I bought it BUT I will be returning it tomorrow. Alcohol is the second most ingredient and it totally dried out my skin.

I just searched nivea.com though, and found this

Its different packaging, but the same color as the old one I was using, which was "alcohol-free, moisturizing toner". Just wondering if anyone has tried this gentle toner, and if it's the same as the moisturizing toner was?

I hate it when they do this .... ruin a good thing!

It might be the same product, just "refurbished..." I would at least give it a try! Or e-mail Nivea Customer Service about it and see what they say...

Wow, that sucks Becka. I've always loved Nivea, I hope they didn't change that great moisturizer . . . I forget the exact name but it's the one that came in a fat container, it was so thick and wonderful!

Yaay! This is what I wanted to hear ... I dunno why my d/s didn't have the pink one, but I really didn't want to trek all over town looking for it if it wasn't good.

Kee, I think packaging on all their products have changed.

Update: Seems they decided to nix the old toner and put two on the market now, the blue for oily skin and the pink for normal/dry.

Bought the pink one today, it's almost exactly the same as the old "moisturizing toner". The ingredients are a little different, but its just as great, and even more refreshing actually.

ugh, that sucks! why try to fix something that isn't broken?

i'm glad it works for you, though!!
