Anyone here uses night creams?

As I am getting older <cough>....I thought i would try a night creme from my local walgreens.

It's been 5 weeks now since using dermaE organic expressions night creme.

I am now seeing the effects and i'm actually pretty happy. My skin is a lot smoother, younger, brighter and fresh looking. It is olive based and has heaps of antioxidants and it helps repair your skin while you sleep.

It took a while to see if it was going to work or not and i use it every single night and i think it will last me for another month before buying another jar.

I thought i wasted my money and just used it a night moisturizer..but i'm happy with how my skin is glowing.

I thought i'd share..it's not everyday i find a product that does what it claims.

The downfall: expensive! you can find it cheaper on the net..but i bought mine for..erm..28 bux!

im sure i mentioned it in my thread. It's Derma E Organic Expressions Night Creme

I have to say, I love the night cream I use. I use clarins multi active night cream. I started fairly early using the cream but I did notice the difference quite soon also.

Night creams are definately worth it in my opinion!

btw I'm glad you have a product you are happy with! good for you!

Glad you found something that works for you! $28 isn't bad at all! Some people spend $100 or more on a night cream. In fact, I'm using up a small sample jar of Creme de La Mer I bought for $20. A full size of this goes for over a $100. I won't be buying it though. It's okay, but it doesn't really meet all they hype! I definitely think a night cream of some kind is worth it though!

yea..i heard about la mer...and i was thinking about buying a la mer creme but a bit steep. All hype hey? Didn't la mer come out with a better creme..than the original? it's suppose to be light weight and feel really nice.

I had trouble with many night creams because of being to thick overall, I did not like La Mer at all. I have been using a hydrating creme extreme I bought online and love it, I have not felt clogged up it works beautifully.

I think they do make a lotion, but the creme is pretty thick and kind of greasy almost. But if you really want to try La Mer, check out Skincarejungle.com. You can get small sample sizes of La Mer for a reasonable price to see if you like it before you pay for a full size. In fact, I just checked and their running a BOGO sale on sample size lotions!! Let us know how you like it!

well...i really like the night creme i use now.

I like the tingle and isn't thick or irritating to my skin. I only heard about la mer cuz allure rated it as a really hot splurge..

If i get bored of my night creme or it isn't performing as well in the future, I will check out some samples .but for now...i'm just over the moon about my creme! =)

I don't really want to sound like an idiot or something,

but what exactly is a night cream supposed to do?

Well...at night when you're resting is when your skin rests also or regenerates. So...a night cream helps your skin along in that process. Your skin type determines what you use on your face at night. Maybe it's an acne cream for people with oily/acne prone skin....or a serum for moisturizing if your skin is dry. Does that help?

I thought I knew what a night creme does till now...

Thanks Kaville

does any of you , girls, add some serum or natural oil in your regular creams (but not the day creams with spf, of course) at night, as an alternative to a night cream?

I haven't tried that, but I have just used jojoba or almond oil or some other kind of oil at night in place of a night cream. Just the oil, not mixed with anything. It does work, I just go light with it so I don't have grease all over my pillow case.

i use my night regime as a way to attack my blemishes. i use dermalogica medicated clearing gel. btw, i love derma e products. i haven't tried their night cream, but i use just about everything from their tea tree and e line! excellent products and i'm so happy that you got positive results!
