Night cream

i am looking for a good night cream for combo/easily dried out skin that won't break me out and that has some type of exfoliators in it. i also have sensitive skin that gets red easily. when i use regular mosturizers i don't have any skin improvement and when i use my hope in a jar (w/ lactic acid) alot of nights and days in a row my skin gets all hot and red. my skin is so dang finicky it's not funny. i just want pretty skin. any suggestions??

Oil of Olay had great and inexpensive night creams, look on their website. Good Luck...

Well, either you will have a nightime moisturizer or a exfoliator, not a combination of the 2. And the reason your skin looks "all hot" is because you're using the exfoliating creme too often, 2 or 3 times a week is enough & use at night time only. If your skin is sensitive then as a exfoliator use Clinique's Total Turnaround Creme which is a beta hydroxy acid which is milder & less irrating then a alpha hydroxy acid. On nights when you're not using a exfoliator use a regular moisturizer, perhaps Clinique's Moisture on Call would be the answer since it's a good hydrator without being oily.

I was going to suggest the same cream. The Total Turnaround is just great. I also have the same problem with combo/oily skin. They gave me a sample and I tried a week it or so. IT did wonders to my skin. But you have to be really consistent with cleaning your skin every night and putting it on.

I've sort of slacked off and I've lost that glowly look which Turnaround had given. I think you will love it.

and how does it do at moisturizing? i am always needing moisture and many exfoliating products don't give alot of it! so when my face feels uncomrtable and red that means i've had too much exfoliation? the redness always comes out in the presence of heat! i would skip using it but i always feel like that is inviting the pimples! during the day it's like i can "feel" everything on my face, like its dirty or uncomfortable. i just want clean, smooth, skin, that feels refreshed and stays feeling "clean" and cool all day long. normal skin maybe? lol.

the turnaround really does moisturize but withoug clogging your pores.

what kind of exfoliator are you using if you feel the redness?

well i use proactiv's revitalizing toner, and have been for a long long time, but i believe what really does it is the philosophy hope in a jar, it has lactic acid and beta glucan i believe? i am just trying to get rid of my mild/small amount of acne and i keep thinking that this all will help. well my skin is still not normalized and still is not totally clear. i just don't know what to use! *sigh*

this one doesnt have an exfoliater in it but i use it in the winter cause it helps with my winter skin and doesnt make me break out at all.

burts bees night creme. its thick but works wonders.
