Hi,
New to boards. Was wondering if anyone has melasma and has any recommendations for treatment. I have had it for almost 6 years now and it won't go away! I have tried a whole bunch of thing except Triluma since I am not so up on putting steroids on my face. I got it from taking the birth control pill which I stopped almost 5 years ago but the melasma did not go away. I was thinking of trying microdermabrasion but not sure which one would be good, can't afford getting it done professionally. Plus, I read that microdermabrasion can make you break out and I have sensitive skin. Any suggestions would be appreciated. If I forget to put on sunscreen it gets so much darker. I wish they would find out why we get melasma from hormones, which personally I think the BC pill really screwed up my system.
