I recently purchased some new product from Juice Beauty, Origins, and Mary Kay with some amazing results so I wanted to share.

I typically have dry skin but once I moved to a new state my skin has become more combination of oily and dry. So needless to say I have a variety of needs. So here is the break down of my skin care regiment:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday - Nights

1. Mary Kay Eye Make-Up Remover - I love this product because it literally takes me 2-3 swipes to remove ALL of my eye make-up!

2. Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk face wash - This one is great because it's gentle and also includes toner and make-up remover to remove any left over face make-up, and toner is ALWAYS a must and a plus in any product.

3. Mary Kay Microdermabrasion Step 1: Refine - This product is really granulated and feels like I'm massaging sand over my face. I love the feel and love how all of the dead skin on my face is gone afterwards.

4. Mary Kay Microdermabrasion Step 2: Replenish - This moisturizer makes my skin SO soft, I absolutely love it.

5. Mary Kay Intense Moisturizing Cream - I use this after the replenish because, as I mentioned before, I have super dry skin. My face just sucks the replenish up and though it does make my skin soft and supple, I start to feel a little bit of a tightening/drying sensation not long after so this thick moisturizing cream (which moisturizes for 10 hours) is great for me to spend my night in.

6. Mary Kay Firming Eye Cream - I use this because I tend to get really dark circles in my under eye area and it could use some plumping. This really seems to do the trick and even hours later I still feel the moisture under my eye if I touch it.

After all of this I am ready to go to bed!

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday - Mornings

1. Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk face wash

2. Juice Beauty Antioxidant Serum - This is an age defying serum to fight aging and "resist gravity" :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I love the feel and smell of it and it's totally organic!

3. Juice Beauty Green Apple Collection Moisturizer with SPF 15 - This is great smelling, thick, and has SPF - #WINNING!

4. Mary Kay Soothing Eye Gel - I use this to reduce puffiness and irritation around the eye area, a crucial component for me in the morning.

After this I put on my BareMinerals Make-Up, which seems to work much more effectively now that my skin is ready for it :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> A splash of Juice Beauty Reflecting Lip Gloss in Fig - which I love because it's almost the exact color of my lip so when I put it on I get a shade of color and a lot of shine and it moisturizes my lips really well, it's never tacky and my lips are never left thirsty afterwards.

The only thing that I do differently on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday Nights is that I use an Origins Drink Up Intensive overnight mask - it helps to quench skin's thirst and WOW did it work!!! Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings look just like my Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday mornings.

Just for comparison's sake, what I was doing before was:

Mornings:

1. Wash face with Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub in shower

2. Put Nivea Soft lotion on my face out of shower

Nights:

nada.

So this is obviously a large change in my regime, and the simple fact that I am now doing SOMETHING for my skin definitely contributes to why it's responding so well, but I like to give the products a lot of the credit.   :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Do you think my regiment is a good one? What do you do for your skin?

I love, love, love Juice Beauty too. Current AM: Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micelle Solution on a cotton round Avene Thermal Water spray to tone Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Serum or Murad Sensitivity Redness Relief Serum, depending on how my skin is doing Olay Complete SPF30 Sensitive moisturizer Current PM: Makeup removal: Bioderma again to remove eye makeup, KORRES Milk Proteins Foaming Cream Cleanser (for TM & MSFN days) or Lancome Huile Douceur cleansing oil (foundation) Avene Gel Cleanser for Normal to Combination skin Avene thermal water to tone Yes to Carrots! Eye Can C eye contour cream, with Avene Ystheal+ eye cream every few days Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminee 1st Wrinkle Serum Cetaphil Daily Moisturizing Lotion Exfoliant: Dermalogica Cream Exfoliant once/month, with Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Sensitive about once/week to maintain. Treatment: Murad Clarifing Mask about twice/month to help with clogging

Nice routine Maris! How are you liking the green apple peel from Juice? I haven't used a peel before, I'm worried that my skin will react poorly to it. I also use an oatmeal and avocado face mask once a week and my skin LOVES that stuff! It's some grocery store/drugstore brand called Freeman I think? Typical mask brand found in sephora too. I've been thinking of adding some omega 3 to my diet to help with my skin (I've heard it helps, is that true?) but since I'm an anti-pescetarian (don't eat fish, EVER) I'd probably opt for a vegetarian omega 3 option like evening primrose oil - which I understand has many more benefits than fish oil - again, does anyone know if this is true?

Love the convo, thanks for the help!

Is that Mary Kay Microdermabrasion thing actually low enough to use that many times?!

be careful with that, you are suppose to wait 7-10 days for that type of resurfacing of the skin or you can severely sensitize your skin causing more problems than before!

My routine:

Morning:

Dermalogica Ultracalming cleanser

Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner

Lancome Genefique Concentrate

Estee Lauder Idealist

Lancome High Resolution

Lancome Genefique Eye

Evening:

Lancome Oil Cleanser

Dermalogica Essential Cleansing Solution

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner

Estee Lauder Advance Night Repair Serum

Genefique Night Repair

Estee Lauder Advance Night Repair Eye

I go get Microdermabrasion every 2 months or so, and I'll get peels probably every month i'm not getting Microdermabrasion.

and im excited about getting a Photofacial in a few weeks!
