well actually my mom did it the plan was for her to take off a few inches - bluntly - so i could get used to the change, then the hairdresser woudl even it out and whatnot, and it wouldnt be a dramatic chop. BUT...my mom got a little scissor happy and since she took off more like 5 inches, i decided i could not afford to go to the hairdresser to fix it up

nah, if it was healthy i wouldnt have cut it! split end city
