i just got 8 inches cut off and have a new fun and funky style.

my question is, what color should i highlight it? or lowlight it? i've never put color in it so i want something natural, obviously. this will happen in a salon next weekend. i'm soo clueless with this.

anyways, here are some pictures for better ref.

if you need anymore pictures, just ask.

maybe some chocolate low lights and some sort of golden blonde highlights? a few shades lighter and a few shades darker than what you have now

You look beautiful=) I think your hair is nice, maybe not dye it after all?

thanks. there were two hair stylists. one was cutting my hair and saying i should get this color and that, while the other stylist was not agreeing with her. so, they were kinda fighting [in a friendly way?] over my hair and colors to put in it. soo ...

i don't have to! lol. another good options. though i've never done it and i'm happy with it. i just want something fun and funky? yanno. something different. lol.

I love it flipped out! I would say maybe some Caramel highlights with maybe some Golden ones.

i'd vote for a ash-tone, baby blonde highlights. it goes with the summer :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

btw, i love you new hair cut. only if i can ever pull off a short hairstyle like that, i'd be thrilled. lol

"Tis the season for hair dye disaster!!" :sleepyhead:

There are two posts (currently) floating around of hair catastrophe. :brsh:

I usually think long hair is the way to go, but this haircut is a home run for you. :rockwoot:

I love the flypy do, love it. Do whatever makes u happy for summer

BTW-what is your hair type I have thin fine hair wonder if that would work for me??

i have thin hair also. but, i put suave volumizer foam in damp hair, flip my head upside down, blow dry it, and thats it. =]

It looks great, Id go with golden highlights and chocolate aswell. It really does look nice. I chose golden and honey colors with a chocolate color for my hair n it does looks great

it look's awesome! love it both ways. i think golden highlight's will look real nice. try to post some pic's if u get it done.

I love the way it looks reddish in those top photos. I agree with some golden and honey highlights, but maybe a strawberry blonde? Your hair looks fabulous!

i have a haircut like that except its longer layers in the middle it looks nice but i'd go to a special colorist for advice

I second the strawberry blonde idea. I think it would look especially pretty.

i agree ^^ low and highlights, the darker low lights will make your hair seem thicker
