i ordered the epidermx microdermabrasion after so many raves..well it took forever for me to get it because they were switching to this new kind..epidermx 2 or whatever. and on the instructions it says for best results to use daily, but i thought that microdermabrasion was only supposed to be done like 1-2 times a week? i'm confused!

It depends, I think, on how gentle it is. Some can be used daily, but some are designed for use 1-3 times per week. I use mine 3 times a week max, and use a deep pore mask about once or twice a week on different days than I use the microdermabrasion.

It really depends on how gentle/coarse it is. Try it 2 times a week and see how that goes for your skin

definitely test drive it first. maybe start once or twice a week and if that goes well, bump it up another day and so on. let us know how it works!

I have the old epidermx. For this I used it twice a week as a treatment and it worked out great. I just got a sample of the new epidermx (epidermx II) and it does say to use it every day. It says to use it one day for 10 seconds and the next for a little longer etc. I will not use this every day because for me it would be too much exfoliation. I will probably use this twice a week as well. The difference between the old and new epidermx is that the new one doesn't have to be used a long, only about 10 seconds where as the old one you had to rub until all the dead skin came off. i use to use epidermx micro every couple of days like every monday and friday buttt i found it too harsh because im already using enough exfoliation so now i cut down on once a week i use it for around 7 minutes after i use rinse i use emu cream and sleep my skin feels very smooth and soft it has lighten up some acne scars its good but not good enough on its own

I got my new Epidermx last week and have been using it like a scrub everyday. It's definitely gentler than the old Epidermx - doesn't feel as gritty or abrasive on the skin. With the old one I used it only once a week but with this new one I follow directions and use once daily and so far am loving it. No problems of irritation. I like it better than the old one.

i still have the old epidermx so haven't tried the new one, i think like all other ladies said just try it for once a week ,then twice a week and see the effect on your skin and maybe if it's not too harsh you could try 3 or 4 times a week..that would really depend how your skin will react to the new epidermx.
