i am thinking about trying origins never a dull moment scrub, anybody have an experience from it? trisha, i think i read somewhere that you use it? i need something to polish my dry skin...

I used to use that as a base for the aspirin mask. Basically I'd take 10 plain aspirin, add a bit of water to make it a coarse paste, then add a teaspoonful of the NADM and use this as a mask. After 20 minutes, my skin would be super soft and glowing. I stopped using it only because I do weekly microdermabrasion peels and adding this to my routine would be too much on my skin. But IMO it's good stuff, at least when paired w/ aspirin! :icon_bigg

hmm interesting!!! i started reading up on modern friction & now i think i'm leaning toward that one! geeze. both of these would do justice to flaky dry patches in moderation i'd think? but... which one is better. hehe.

Hi Kerry, sorry to jump in but what exactly is the aspirin mask supposed to do??

Hi eleinys! The aspirin mask is an exfoliating and pore-clearing mask. Aspirin is a form of beta-hydroxy acid and will do an excellent job as a mask, but since it's so crumbly and dry when used alone, I mix it in with Never A Dull Moment to enhance NADM and to allow the aspirin to stick to the skin. It also works just as well when mixed with plain yogurt. :icon_smil

i want to try out some origins stuff, but i hate the smells!

mmm fruity? interesting. i will probably end up with BOTH of them. i ordered modern friction though, & i'm excited to try it out.

hi girls, well i've used modern friction about 3 times i believe and it works well minus the fact that it makes my face all warm feeling and leaves it quite red. i don't think this is normal?? i bought the full size jar too because their is no origins near me. does the never a dull moment iritate this much also? i might try that one. :icon_sad:

I think NADM is very gentle--TOO gentle, in fact for me; I don't feel it does enough (though I think I'll add some aspirin next time and also use it as a mask--great tips!)

If the other irritates your skin NADM may be just the ticket then.
