first sorry about the thread title i meant need your help not new.. stupid me :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

hey girls.. i have been dealing with a skin problem for about 2 months now. i dont know how or why it started but i have been consistantly breaking out between my eyebrows and around that area including a few blemishes on my forehead during this time. a few of these will form whiteheads but the majority are just hard cyst like bumps that will get red and they can hurt rather badly if irritated. i dont understand how this came about and i dont know what to do to treat this. anyone have any suggestions.maybe someone is having a similar situation?what are they? i havent changed anything i was doing regarding my cleansing routine or makeup wise this is why this is puzzling me,but whatever i do to try and make them fade they keep coming back. i hate them. i wish i had a clear face back. hopefully someone can help me. i am including a pic n i hate showing my bare face like this n my eyebrows are even more embarrasing cause i havent tweezed or anything to try and prevent further irritation to the area.

my diet is pretty much how it always was and i am 19 years old.what exactly is pure tea tree oil?

Tea Tree Oil is a natural antiseptic. You can purchase it at most drugstores, health stores like GNC. I use it to spot treat my acne and it works wonders.

that's so weird because look at mine...

it's never happened to me, either. maybe it's my new foundation (studio fix fluid), so i stopped using it all week to see if it'll improve sometime soon.

good luck! i hope it goes away for us :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

this is quite a coincidince... they look so similar its crazy. I to tried studiofix liquid but i used it only once.. and i had some of the breakouts before i used it.. but im unsure now if it worsened because of the sf? it could be possible but i havent used it since that one time and i still have them.. ahh we need to find a cure for our problem :icon_scratch:

Tea tree oil sounds like a must try.

Oh no Jennifer! I don't think we want to hear that Studio Fix Fluid is breaking you out!!

Hi I'm sorry to hear your having problems with your skin but i know someone who had this same reaction which was caused by her getting her eyebrows waxed from a new salon she just started going too( she had a terrible reaction too)! But this isn't your cause i see since you tweeze your eyebrows! Hopefully someone can help you!

Wow, two months with the exact same acne spots? Or do they heal up but new ones appear? Are you able to get to a dermatologist?

yea two horrible months :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> its not that they stayed full blown for two months.. they would actually go down till i thought they were gone.. but then the same ones or maybe slighty moved ones form up again.. its weird though cause they do not have heads usually they feel hard and they are just very annoying .. like at this point id rather them be normal pimples with heads atleast those would usely dry up after a few days and heal.

Try tea tree oil treatment spot.

Tea tree oil is my saviour, it's good for any kind of pimple or even cyst acne.

I had the same thing 2 years ago. It wasn't acne, it was "shingles" (it's caused by the same virus that causes chicken-pox). When it's around your eyes, it's called "optical shingles". I think you need to get to a doctor as soon as possible. It may not be shingles, but you should not rule it out. If you leave optical shingles untreated you risk blindness. I don't want to scare you, but if it's been two months call the doctor and schedule the earliest appointment that you can. With your description, it sure does sound exactly like when I had it.

Do you wear glasses? On the simple, if you wear glasses..you can get irritation there from not cleaning the glasses well...then there are those good ole hormones..sometimes when progesterone is out of wack it will show up in acne on the forehead and nose areas..if it is Estrogen screwed up..it usually shows up on the chin..

thanks everyone for the tips.. i just ordered the pure tea tree oil from drugstore.com so im awaiting that and hopefully it works as good me for as some of you guys...its just so puzzling to me cause they really seem to go down to a point where i say.. hey maybe in a day or two it will be gone but for some reason they suckers flair up again..:icon_sad:

I had a similar thing happen to me, but the acne was only on my chin. I tried an OTC cream, but that only made it worse. My dermo prescribed my Differin gel and tetracycline antibiotics. So far, it's helped a lot, but I heard that any treatment process takes at least a few months to work. Hang in there, things will get better. I recommend seeing a dermo so you can get prescription medications. Good luck!

Hi bacidolci, if you go to Dermalogica's website and look at their facial mapping section, there will be some advice as to why and what is causing the breakout.Facial mapping is very informative and can help you identfiy the problem.I get hormoanal breakouts along my jawline which is casued by hormones. Dermalogica also has products avail to treat the problem.

hm, i guess it can't be that then.

melissa, i hope not! i really doubt it, though, because my skin hasn't been clear since about november or so. i blame it on stress.

i'm gonna give differin another shot. have you tried that? i hope tea tree oil works for you! it hasn't been working for me.

tea tree oil is great! that definately should help in a few days of using it--if not call your dermo asap to rule out shingles..

i hope everything works out soon
