Need some skin care help ASAP!!

I am geting ready for my dads wedding that is coming up really soon and need to reduce the acne and redness on my face. No amount of makeup seems to cover it. I was wondering if there was anything that I could do to reduce the apperence of the reddness and acne. It is hard for me b/c I have really pale skin and a pinkish undertone anyways. Please give me some suggestions to try.

If you have the funds, lazering can immediately reduce the redness in your skin.

If you have rosasea, you can get presciption medication. It will help the rosacea but I know know how quickly it will work.

Have you tried using a pale light green concealer on the redness, then covering that with a concealer/foundation close to your skin tone?

Thanks for the response. I wish I had the money to do something like that. I was hoping for something cheap or homemade.

As soon as I get some money I am going to go see a derm for this problem. I have had Acne and red skin for 11 years now.

aloe vera gel every night...and aspirin mast will definitely reduce the redness.. i use 4-5 aspirin and couple drops of glycerin..and works very well

Your family doctor can prescribe rosasea medication - that should save you some money.

I second the Aloe Vera gel. It's a great healer. Also, spot treat with the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask. It gets tons of raves on here. You might also check out these threads for some suggestions. hth
