hi everyone, I've searched all over this site and can't find any info on puffy bags under the eyes. does anyone have any insight into what will actually help depuff? no dark circles just grocery bags! I'm only 43 but looking near 50. help:icon_sad:

Thanks for the reply!

yes I have heard of prep H for the eyes. I didn't know it was serious though. Never heard of eyesentials. Where would ya find it? I know that this is heredity. (thanks mom) it will never go away. I just want it to be LESS:icon_roll

I just looked at the advanced dermal products, looks too good to be true. if anyone out there has tried it let me know. at 110% money back, maybe I'll try it out myself

Things you can do:

Stop eating as much salt

drink more water

get 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night

take vitamin K supplements (improves circulation)

I'm a big fan of Hylexin eye cream which is marketed for dark circles, but I think it helps with puffiness and wrinkles too.

Will try all but the getting more sleep. I have 4 kids and 1 is under 2.

ok Iordered it. will let you know in approx. 60+ days (I tried the Prep H 2 nights in a row, just can't do it, "it's just wrong"

The Prep H really does help. I used it after I had been wearing my glasses for a year. For some reason that seems to mess with your eyes. It took about 7-10 days for my eyes to start looking more open again.

OK OK! its not the ingredients. It's mostly the SMELL! not to mention the memories it conjeres up of the painful days after my first child was born...ouch! I'll keep using it until the order (Urst Eye firming system) comes in.

This is going to sound nuts but do you rub your eyes at all? I started paying attention and found I was rubbing my eyes ALL THE TIME. I stopped and started drinking more water and have seen a lot of results.

I rub my eyes constantly, I think its allergies. I've tried to stop a million times but to no avail! I have taken prev. post advice and drinking more water (again) we'll see (oops!! no pun intended!) thanks, I never thought that that could be a piece of it. I'll try using mittens hehe

Yeah I have the problem too! It is a toughie. I use cold herbal eye pads from the fridge and I try different eye tightening products. I DO know plenty of people (I may be joining them) who use the prep. H, EVEN men and they swear by it. my puffiness is usually sinus related but sometimes my eyelid gets puffy from allergy. In that case ,SOMETIMES not always, if I take just a LITTLE antihistamine it will go down a little. My m/up teacher used to keep tablespoons in the freezer and when she was puffy she would sit down and hold them to her puffy spots. The cold seemd to help. Eye Gels with cucumber and witch hazel are supposed to help too, as well as caffeine because it is a diuretic. I am not about to let someone hack on my eyes so I will just deal! Oh well!:icon_cool I guess sunglasses are the answer! Chermarie

:clap Oh COOL so you use it and it works! Then I am definitely getting some!:icon_chee Chermarie

:icon_chee Hey, hey now, dont' be dissin' 50! I am 52 and still one hot looking mama and can still turn heads when I walk in a room. It doesn't hurt that the young hotties still ask me out too! They think I am WAY younger! So pack up your bags (pun intended!) with a good tightening and firming product and strut your stuff girl! Show them what 43 looks like! hehe! There is LOTS of great info on this thread that should work even if it is only temporarily, so ... you Get ON with beautiful self! cuz worrying will only make the bags worse! If you can't handle prep H, use a cucumber, witch hazel and caffeine or an herbal type of caffeine (like guarana) eye gel cold from the fridge, it should help some.Good luck!:clap Chermarie

I'm not dissin' 50! I'm just not there yet! Besides, like mom and grammie always say "the only shame in old age is not gotting there" and grandma should know, she's 95!! Any how, thanks for the advice (and the pep talk). I didn't know that witch hazel was ok for the eyes. Prep H cool gel is made with witch hazel and NO shark liver oil! yahoo! Ok now I'm really good to go, got my tea bags in the fridge, and will put my eye mask in the freezer.

Many many thanks ladies, Mary Ann

p.s. i've tried to stop rubbing my eyes! I think that could be the biggest help. thanks again:icon_bigg

Okay I want to try the prep H but need a little help. How often do you apply it? Does it show immediate results or do you have to use it a little before it helps?

that is actually a very good question! I've been using it only in the a.m. because I was thinking it was only temp. If someone knows better please let us know.

i have heard of lymphatic drainage to help reduction of eye bags. Anyone has any idea?

I only use prep H in the mornings because that is the only time when my puffiness if the worst. As mentioned before, the ingredients are very basic (I think one of them is shark oil if I remember correctly), so I doubt there would be any harm in doing it twice a day!
