Need a soft pout!

I get really dry lips over the Winter that look so unsightly :icon_roll Ive tried loads of different lip balms but none seem to have any lasting effect... as soon as the balm has wown off my lips are back to normal. does anyone have any advice for me?

Have you tried Carmex? Because I don't use anything else and always recommend it to everyone. I find it brilliant, have tubes and tubs of it at work, at home, in the car, gym bag etc!

Try exfoliating daily with a washcloth (nod to Kim!) to keep the dead skin layers to a minimum. Also, the key is to keep lips protected all the time with a balm and use a lot before bedtime. Most of my dryness occurs overnight so I have to be diligent and never skip a night.

Kiehl's Lip Balm SPF 15 is really wonderful--is super hydrating and long lasting and really heals chapped lips,as well. It comes in a clear tint and 2 shades of sheer red--both very very nice. Not that many stores seem to carry it around here(don't know about the U.K.) but I think you can order it at its website, Kohls.com.
