My chest and neck has really started breaking out lately more than usual. My face isn't overly broke out. It looks like normal with some slight acne. Does anyone know a good way to get rid of this acne on my chest and neck? I am in my sisters wedding in a few weeks and my dress is strapless and will show this off really bad so I want to get control of this!!

well i still have some little pimples and red scars on my chest, but washing it and moisturising it as you'd do with your face is really helping. i also use tea tree oil on my shoulders. have you changed your body wash recently? it might just be an allergic reaction.

if you still have some for the wedding, try to put foundation also on your chest.

i know the benzoyl peroxide tube that mary kay makes is really AWESOME at getting rid of pimples on the FACE quickly! i've never put it on my chest or neck before though..but it wudnt hurt to try!

The only thing I have changed lately is I switched to Acnefree system, but I don't use it on my chest. My face hasn't had a reaction to it. My body wash, shampoo, etc is all the same. I will have to get some benzoyl peroxide and try that. Thanks girls!

Maybe go to an esthetician so they can flatten out the pimples. If you put foundation on, that will only mask it a little bit if the pimples are still raised, and you will still be able to see them. Are you sweating more lately? That could have something to do with it too. Good luck!

i use the same zit stuff on my face on my neck and chest. and since its getting warmer outside, i use neutrogena clear skin concealer for zits on my neck/chest. its cheaper than what i use on my face (mac concealer) and covers stuff up just fine.

I am going to have to try some of my zit stuff on my chest. i have a couple products that i have quit using that i will have to try and see if it helps. Mostly products with BP.

use a body wash specifically designed to clear up body acne (i think the contain a bit of aha and/or salicylic acid)

drink tons of water, eat lost of fruit, vegies and take vitamins like c, b complex, zinc and silica compound

use benzoyl peroxide on individual spots, and try to expose the skin to the tiniest bit of sun here and there, to just dry out juicy ones.

if you can go to a beach, saltwater helps to clear the skin.

dont wear too tight fitting tops, let the skin breathe.

good luck

I'd try using an acne body wash. I think Neutrogena makes one. They usually put Salysilic (spelling is wrong, sorry) acid in them which helps clear up acne on your body. hth

My body-skin is very cooperative with almost every body wash, as long as it has some ingredient in it that's good. I've tried Biore's SA wash, and my all time favorite that just does the job is ProActiv's Deep Cleansing Wash (the green stuff with the tiny scrubs in it). Keeps my body acne-free.

I get those on my neck now that I wear MMU.I just use a spot treatment on them,I like the ones that you peel off in the morning
