Does anyone here use nair. I used it today, and it says dont use soap afterwards, but now i cant get rid of the smell.....and i rinsed for like ever!!! Any suggestions?

I haven't used Nair in a while, but maybe instead of soap, could you use a bodywash? That might help get rid of the smell.

A nice body lotion might help, too?

I use Nair and I always use soap after cause I can't stand the smell. One word of caution....don't use it on your face...I have hyperpgimentation on my upper lip because of it....always have to wear makeup to cover my 'mustache'

I always wash off depilatories with soap, didn't realize the manufacturer recommends against it (oops). I put unscented moisturizer on my skin the night before I use depilatories and that helps prevent the chemical smell. I've used both Nair and Veet. I like Veet much better (the Veet cream one is much easier to use than the Veet mousse), doesn't smell as strong and seems more effective to me.

I used Nair b4 but now I use Veet

I couldn't stand the smell of Nair as soon as I put it on so now I just wax.

oh gosh, that stuff is a pain in the a**. it stinks, it burned my skin..ugh! i haven't used nair in awhile, so i wouldn't know. i just went back to the ole shaving.

I use Nair for underarm hair removal all the time. The old formula used to have an awful smell (like lye) and I hated it! The new formulation has baby oil in it and has no smell at all. I use the roll on type and it works like a charm.

i use it occasionally, but i never notice the smell after i shower. i do use a shower gel and haven't had any problems with breakouts or rashes.

Couldn't use the Nair because it gave me a rash. Maybe the newer formulation or Veet would be better.

If you can find a soap perfume, colour free then it should be fine, the reason you shouldnt use anything after is because the perfume etc in products irritates the skin.

Have to say that between the two..Veet is better..with the smell..and performance...
