Hey girls! I have a really important question to ask you! I am getting married on August 4th. I am a very fair bride to be! I used to be able to go into tanning beds without any problem but not anymore! I am on medicine that literally makes me burn everytime I am in the sun so needless to say if I wanna get a tan for the wedding I cant do it in the beds! I was wondering what everyone's opinions were about mystic tans? Have you had good experiences or bad ones? Any tricks I should know? I need to go get on this week just to make sure it will look good!

I am not really all that concerned with it-I'm fair and that is just how it is. There is nothing I can do about it especially because its from my meds! But you cant tell me mother that!! She is being one of those pain in the butt wedding mothers!!! GRRRR..................... Sorry I got off track there

Sometimes you just need to vent about it

HAHAHA!!

The only one problem I have is.....I am still going to burn like HELL on our honeymoon! We are going on a cruise to the Caribbean! YEAH! My fiancee keeps on joking with me that we should have gotten stock in "water babies" cause of all the sunscreen I will need

So what do you all think? I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks for the help and for letting me vent

I would definitely go get the Mystic Tan soon and see how it looks on you. I haven't gotten it yet, but I was very curious to get it. As far as your honeymoon goes, I would just difinitely make sure you are always putting sun screen on. Wear a nice fashionable hat to go with your outfits to keep the sun out of your face and have fun. Congrats on your wedding! Good luck with everything.

Mystic Tan sounds like a great idea. Maybe do it now to just get an idea how it is going to look? I can't wait to see pictures of your wedding! =)

I love the Mystic tan and I am fair too. It turns out pretty natural on me. Just be sure to use the barrier cream really well on your palms and fingernails and toenails. I would go once or twice before so you can get the hang of applying the barrier cream.

Oh and look for a salon that has the My Mystic those are the newest booths and give you a better airbrushed result.

When i got married, i had not been in the sun at all for the entire summer, and there was no way i was getting married looking all pasty.

i got a "baste & bake", 1st half mystic tan, then second half tanning bed. i NEVER use the tanning bed, but this was a one time thing and was in dire need of a good color in one sitting without wanting to be that orangey color that a higher level of mystic will give on its own... so did a mid level mystic and 10 minutes in the tanning bed (also at a lower heat level).

WORKED WONDERS!!!
