Hey girls....I have some time off work so I went and tried the Mystic Tan yesterday...this way if I looked wierd I'd have time to get back to normal before I had to be at work in front of clients BUT It's AWESOME! Looks just like a danged regular tan! I was worried I'd be too dark...you know, go from pale winter to dark tropical princess in 30 seconds but it just gave a nice bit of color and if I wanted the instant deep dark I could go back today. They say you maintain every 4-7 days so it ends up costing about the same as a tanning bed only it's not terrible for you YAY!!!

That's cool Angie! Does it stink like they say it does? I've always been interested (as I used to use regular beds), but I've never tried it.

It does have an odor but it's not as bad as regular self tanners and it's gone as soon as you shower. They also have some sort of mystic spray to mask the smell if you're going somewhere.

I always liked going (except in the winter it's very very cold!). I somehow always manage to mess up my hands though - whether it's with self-tanners or Mystic. I usually wind up looking like a blotchy muppet lol. I found that it never lasted as long as they say it's supposed to though - so I found it wound up being much more costly than regular tanning.

Nope, no orange skin. There is a bit of a learning curve tho...I didn't put enough of the barrier cream on my ankles and they got too dark...but I know for next time.
