Q: I have sunspots on my face. My skin is also beginning to look dull and saggy. What do you recommend?
A: Dull, sagging skin and sunspots (particularly for those who've baked at the beach) are a natural part of the aging process, but thankfully there are things you can do to make your skin healthier and younger-looking—no matter your age. To combat sagging skin, try a product that contains vitamin C, which provides protection against free radicals, while also promoting increased collagen production to help firm, tone, and smooth the skin. For sunspots, try a skin lightening cream that contains hydroquinone or kojic acid, both of which help reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation. Also, always wear an SPF. A brief moment in the sun without sunscreen will reverse all the hard work you've done (read: welcome back brown spots).
