Had to tell everyone about this, it's really funny and surprising, actually. I have been trying to get my "manly man" husband to consistently use good skin care for some time now. Just recently I think he actually is doing it every day. So anyway, last night out of the blue he thanked me for getting him to take care of his skin. What brought it on was the fact that he had an interview for a job he REALLY wants. He said it made him fell so much better that he went in there with clear skin (he usually has some acne). Anyway, I just about fell over!! If you knew my hubbie you would understand why. Just had to tell you girls.

Anyone else have a husband/partner who you have "converted" to use a skin care routine????

i do. My SO places greater emphasis on cleaning his skin now...i have him using cleanser, toner, moisturizer..the works!!!!! when he comes over to my place he often asks for a 'facial' complete with Queene Helene Mint Julep Masque!:rockwoot:

That's sweet!! lol I gotta say my husband converted me because when we just got married, I really wasn't into skincare. But then all of a sudden he started to forget about his and I was the one to remind him :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I hope he gets the job he wanted!

that is so great!! congratulations on getting him to the care of his skin :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

oh how I wish I could do the same.. but all I hear is "soap is more than enough! I don't want all that mumbo-jumbo you girls put on your faces!" *sigh* maybe someday! lol

That's so great! I hope he gets the job!

When my fiancee and I first met, he had terrible acne. It wouldn't go away, so I got him to start using Pure Zone, and now he freaks out if he starts running low.

Hi,

This is wonderful news. Congrats to your husband on his decision to take care of his skin. Fingers-crossed that he gets the job.

Good luck to your hubby !

My husband thinks shaving and splashing your face with water is adequate skin care. Every once in a while though he'll let me stick a pore strip on his nose.

Aww.. and I thought I accomplished something by getting my BF to moisturize after showering lol.

I don't know why some men think they can't be macho if they take care of themselves.

I have this friend who proclaims to be a super macho man, like he goes around and arm wrestles people just so he can beat them. Anyway, I was helping him get ready to go out of town and as we were walking out the door he said, "Oh no, i forgot to do my nails!" ...I thought that was funny. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
