I was seeing this derm since last september. My skin is combo, sensitive acne prone, will get breakouts on n off but never obvious. She prescribed me with her so called special nite cream.I used for 6 months with a good result.I had no idea what nite cream it was, but its yellowish and had awful smell. On February, my cream has finished and went to see her again. This time, she said my skin look better and to make it even better, she prescribed me with a higher dose of the nite cream.I didnt know till that moment that these nite creams are being prescribed according to its strength.Hence , I just bought and started applying.....first 2 weeks, i was having like breakouts and suddenly my skin would be oily on n off.I thought my skin is adjusting to the higher dose or somehow, and then continued applying for another 2 weeks.Exactly last week( been a month im using that evil cream) I woke up with red red bumps scattered all over my cheeks and super oily skin. These kinda bumps had never appeared on my face before and oily skin?Never been thiss oozing oily! I laid out the cream n went to her back, she just asked me to continue the cream n apply more.I wasnt happy and convinced, and as hell started .The breakouts became more inflammed and with pus......I went to another experienced derm (used to see him before during my younger times) and I brought the nite cream along. He said my skin got infected and coudn't tolerate the cream. He smelled and confirmed its retinoid mixed with mercury. And its full of chemicals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe my derm has prescribed this hi dosage despite knowing im have a very sensitive skin! And she wouldn't wanna refund my money back for the nite cream I just bought (I still have a new one unopened)
I was extremely upset with my skin, moreover Im gonna meet my fiance end of this month. My skin had became super oily and my m/u is just melting.....never been like this before...He gave me some antibacterial gel to apply..He can't prescribe accutane because ive had allergy towards steroid lifetime.....Ladies, pls do check the ingredients of any cream before u apply it.I dont know how long my skin will take to heal,as its breaking out crazy and super oily at the same time......
