I've been using Neutrogena Clear Pore Wash (Acne wash in the US I think??) - the orange one in the pump bottle, for about 6 months now, it's amazing, gets rid of all my oilies and keeps me from breaking out without being harsh as it's oil, soap and alcohol free. I went to Boots today to get a new bottle as I had finished my bottle off that morning, and was told it had been discontinued in the UK..... :scared:

I don't know what else to use...it was the best face wash ever!!

I HATE when that happens! They also d/ced my favorite moisturizer!!

Do you happen to have Clinique counters there in the UK?

well, that sucks, if they discontinued that product, chances are that they will make something else similar if not the same. companies are bad about putting a new label on an old product.

oh my goodness! i know just how you feel! i went to 3 drugstores trying to find my aveeno skin bright moisturizer and there wasn't a tube to be found. i decided to try something new, but i certainly wasn't happy about it!

yeah we do have Clinique counters but their products don't agree with my skin - feels like I'm using paint stripper lol, even their mildest products hurt my face and I don't have sensitive skin....I just ended up getting Nivea Visage Refreshing Face Wash Gel - it's soap free but doesnt have the Salicylic acid in it to keep the blemishes at bay...will see how that goes.

I bought the Neutrogena 2 in 1 face wash and mask and it's horrible - it feels like clay with mint in it to make you feel like you've had a good wash because it makes your skin tingly, my skin was itchy using it :frown:

Well they have something new called "Wash-Away Gel Cleanser" it's made for oily skin...I use it and love love love it!!

I am glad that you found something else :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

i'm sorry for you. are you speaking of visibly clear? because, yeah, it feels a bit like that, but my skin loves it.

you can also try the new deep clean line, there's a face wash, very gentle, with green clay, and there's also a great exfoliator. apparently it's made for all types of skin, but i think it works great on my combo skin (at least in winter).

Have you tried shopping online for it? Like Drugstore.com or somewhere? I'm sure you can still get it somehow. That's assuming it wasn't discontinued in the US also.

that really sucks! nessa, you have the worst luck with things being discontinued LOL

I ended up buying the Deep Clean Facial Wash...it's ok, a bit perfumed for my liking but it's just ok. I bought the Dove Beauty Bar again but this time in the new packaging - has anyone else bought the version in the new packaging? HAve you noticed it's not as perfumed as it used to be? I wonder whether they've realised many are using it for their face and they've toned down the heavy scent they use? I've been using it for a few days anyway and so far so good!

Vanessa, this sucks yet again!!!!

I know what you mean with Neutrogena, I use the Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser, which you can't even get over here in Europe.. It's like Six American Dollars a bottle without all the Nasty Stuff. Works great. I hope you like you new substitute, but let me know if you'd like to try the Neutrogena...

Hi Ness,

See if someone will do a care package for you.

I was also searching for an alternative. I googled the web and found
spam5.gif
. Been using, I am happy with this alternative. It cleansed without drying and is soft on my skin. It even clears the pimples.

aww you're too sweet Elisabeth! I might have to take you up on that one day!

I'm just using Dove at the moment because I havent found a decent replacement. The neutrogena one I was using was oil, soap and alcohol free and worked sooo good. I've tried Neutrogena Deep Clean facial wash, Clearasil and Nivea face washes but none of them do as good a job :scared:

it's so annoying, I don't even know if they're making a replacement for it.
