So I think this may be because I partied too much this weekend, or because I got my brows done (she waxed too much and irritated my face), or because I tried a new foundation, or...you get the idea. Right now my face feels all itchy and tight and warm. Even my neck (front and back) is warm. Oh, it also might be stress...today is my & my BF's 6th anniversary and it's step up or step off time for him, so that could be contributing. All I know is that my face feels SO irritated and unhappy and I'm really frustrated. I'm going to have to switch back to my ultra-simple routine and not wear any makeup until it feels better. Grrr!!! I think I'll be able to get away with wearing undereye concealer still, so at least I won't look like the living dead, but I hate my face feeling this way!

Sorry, I just had to vent. I hate it when stuff like this happens.

Thanks ladies! I picked up some Dermalogica soothing protection spray on my lunch break and spritzing that on has helped it calm down a little. I've got my second bottle of water in front of me right now. My poor boyfriend! I'm going to be getting up from dinner like ever 5 minutes to pee!

Last week, I increased my Retin A strength and my face is really paying for it.

So for the past 4 days, when I am home, I wash off all the make up and apply polysporin. My face has calmed down, it's not peeling or flaky or raw anymore.

Sorry to hear you're stressed out. I hate when life does that!! lol... Try some aloe vera gel. I've always found that very soothing/healing. Hope the b/f steps up to the plate too!

I haven't heard of the Dermalogica soothing protection spray before. What exactly is it used for, where do you get it and how much does it cost?

Thanks Jessimau - hope you are feeling better as well hon.

Humm.. sorry to hear you're all stressed out. I think you should take a day off from everything and enjoy yourself. That way you can relax. Drink more water, and do what makes you feel happy. Things will get better. : )

Well, oddly enough as soon as I got home and had to apply more makeup, my skin stopped feeling itchy. Now that the evening's over, it's starting to itch a little again. I guess it was mostly nerves. He proposed!!! :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

cyw1, the Dermalogica soothing protection spray is a spray toner that adds moisture and helps soothe the skin. You can spray it over makeup, too.

FACE, etc - Skin Care products at lowest prices, discounted skincare products

yay ! i'm happy for you !!!

the dermalogica sounds like a good emergency product lol and i'm all nerves.

congrats on your proposal! see, you were all stressed out for nothing! lol~
