My eyebrows

Hey girls <3

Well i'm really depressed right now =(

I got my eyebrows done for the first time, and the lady made them so thin. They look awful, and I look so ugly now. I look like a completely different person, and I miss my old face. I cry each time I look in the mirror now ='( It's been 3 weeks so far that i'm letting them grow in, but they are growing so slowly. I'm very worried they'll never grow back to be the way they were, prior to this accident. Will they eventually return to normal, and I mean EXACTLY how they were?? My mom told me it'll take 4 months.. what do you guys thinks?? Also will rubbing olive oil on them help?? Thanks in advance

i am sorry this happened to you. i can relate, except my accident was at the hairdressers.

have you tried pencilling them in while they are growing back? i am not sure how long it will take, perhaps eating vitamins would help the growth. as for if they will be exactly the same as before, they probably will look very close to, if not the same, but it will take a while. in the meantime just colour them in and focus on other beautiful parts of you, which om sure there are a lot of.

I'm willing to wait however long it takes, I just hope they'll be back atleast before April.

As for the pencil, thats a good idea, but i'm going to try not touching them at all. Just letting them look awful, and keep reminding myself that soon enough i'll get them to look nice again.

So far, one seems to be growing out more than the other, but i'm assuming they'll end up balancing out sooner or later.

I just hope they grow back to how they were.. =(

Try applying castor oil to speed up the re-growth. I know how you feel, I like natural brows.

If this has not occurred repeatedly, certainly! We've all been through this mistake. Don't worry.

Poor you. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Eyebrows make a face, and it's awful when someone makes a mistake on them! My eyebrows got waxed too much in the middle a few months ago. One looked really weird. It has taken about 3 months for it to grow back. I think one more month and it will look like it did before.

you eyebrows can take up to 3 months to grow back.

also not all the hairs will nesesarily grow back. while it will be better it may not be as full as before however you may get lucky and they may be fine i would just wait it out and see what happens

yeah eyebrows are werid things

i doubt anything will happen since it was your first time having them done unless you have especially weak hair folicles.

so basicly dont worry about it. just give it time and every thing should be okey dokey.

They might grow back as they were, or they might not. Each hair has a different growth cycle too, so they might not grow back all at once. Also, if any of the follicles were damaged, then those hairs might not grow back. I feel your pain as I definitely overplucked for years! Luckily, after a few months, they're growing back in nicely. Try using the castor oil as suggested, or even Ardell Lash & Brow Growth Accelerator (this is what I use).

If this is the first time your eyebrows have been done, then they'll grow back. I also think the growth rate depends on whether you have thicker hair or not. When I started doing my brows, they'd grow back within a couple of weeks!

Aww I am so sorry. But, I feel ya, I've had someone ruined my eyebrow before and it was on my wedding day! But, I've managed to get my eyebrow back in less than a month!
