My face dries out every winter... Everyone knows the drill, right? Dry cold air outside, dry warm air inside, etc.

I just hit a new decade this fall, so I'm worrying about aging more than usual. It's never been much of a problem; in fact the drying has been a relief on my oil production and breakouts. But now, as winter abounds, The skin around my eyes is getting drier and drier. I went 2 days without moisturizer, and my eyelids are crusted over with dryness and sagging from the weight.

Does anyone out there know of a miracle-moisturizer for very sensitive, (usually) very oily skin that is safe to use around the eyes?? I use a variety of anti-aging lotions for sensitive oily skin, but nothing seems to combat this condition. Right now I'm using Murad Age Reform Perfecting Day Cream, but the high SPF is tearing my eyes up too much. I need product help, Please!

The butters mentioned above are indeed great, you can use them for your face, your body, your lips, even your hair (incorporated in a recipe).

I can also suggest castor oil, just a tiny amount is enough. If you have some olive oil in your kitchen, try that too. Avoid applying too much as oils can make your eyes a bit puffy in the morning, but they do great things for your dry skin.

As for a winter moisturizer, my skin learns more towards dry but i usually go for products with rose, almond oils as component. Aloe vera is soothing so any cream with a good amount of aloe vera is good. Hazelnut oil is supposed to be good for oily skins but i haven't tried it yet.

I personally have solved the problem of SPF by applying a separate sunscreen, and i apply it everywhere ; then with what's left on my fingers i apply it on my eyes. That way i don't get the tingling sensation.

Sounds like some good suggestions, gals! Thanks for the tips. I never knew mango butter could do that much! I've tried honey products, but they seem to make my skin greasy... which I actually wouldn't mind, because I'd be using it on my eyes. The natural solutions sound great... I have very sensitive skin, so chemicals tend to wreak havoc on me. I do use a separate sunblock, regardless, since leaning on a moisturizer or foundation to protect one from the sun isn't usually a good idea, because makeup tends to rub off and doesn't last like sunblock does. I'm going to Sephora today, so I'll check out the natural moisturizers.

The Omorovicza Reviving Eye Cream keeps my eye area moisturized.  It all natural, too.  It has cucumber extract and hazelnut peptide, which I really love, just to name a few.

I use EVOO. It's the only thing that doesn't make my eyes break out in eczema. I just put some on a cotton ball and swipe it over my eyes.. Just don't get it in your eyes >.< It hurts like a mother you-know-what-er

I have problems with eczema, too. I'm starting to think that's what's on my eyelids.

I borrowed some of my mother's vitamin e cream, and it works like a charm, but not enough. I have to constantly reapply it before I put makeup on.

I'm just starting to notice some wrinkling on my lids, and droopy eyelids in later years runs thick on my mother's side. I'm kind of leaning towards something to restore/maintain youth. On impulse, I ordered The Youth As We Know It eye cream by Bliss. I found it at a great price and couldn't resist! I should get it in a few days, so we shall see.

For eczema try calamine lotion, it's quite cheap and doesn't need any prescription. Anything with a good amount of zinc is heaven for eczema, calamine being the other name of zinc :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanks! I will definantly try that.. Even putting EVOO on my eyes everynight still doesn't keep it away.. I will wake up and my eyes feel tight and by the time I'm done washing/moisturizing my face my eyes are severely dry again.. I gotta fix this.. I haven't worn eyeshadow/concealer/foundation on my eyes in I don't know how long.. I have heard that Burts Bees Royal Jelly Eye Creme is good for extremely sensitive eyes.. I just haven't ordered it off the interwebz yet.. I can't find it in any stores.

I don't know that cream specifically, but royal jelly is good and i'm a big fan of Burt's Bees lipbalms.

Eczema is also aggravated by dry skin so make sure you put on body lotion just after getting out of the shower (which should be quick and warm). I also apply some at night. One product i especially love is macadamia nut oil, it's a bit expensive but a little goes a long way and every dry patch of my body disappears under a few days.

I found a great product! Bliss Fabulous Every Day Eye Cream. I applied it once, and my eyelids are feeling much smoother already. I'm still going to keep using the T.Y.A.W.K.I. eye cream, just to prevent wrinkles from the dryness.

For eczema skin, there is moisture cream play a wide role. For making your skin softer moisture cream is very useful. Thanks for showing this post.
