i haven't tried the glycolic acid yet, but it seems that 30% is pretty strong to start. maybe a lower percentage first might be safer, imho!

I went for glycolic peels in a clinic. had four sessions. Skin did improve. Wonder if it can b done at home.

good question! i wonder the exact same thing, i have been using avon anew peel pads with 10% glycolic acid, and i've been doing fine with them but i'm sure if i should increase to 30% ga or go with lactic acid. oh well, tell us how it goes for you!! if you haven't used any before, maybe it would be best to start with lactic..

It really depends on your skin's sensitivity or tolerance. I had no problem starting off with GA 30%. Just make sure you don't leave it on for too long.

Start of with the lower percentage. 30% is okay but don't go over 70% or you might burn your skin. Test it on a small area on your face to see if you can tolerate it.

i used to do it every month...... starting from 25% up to 50%.... skin did improve... did it with a doctor...... but no budget for it nowadays

well i did my first peel on areas of post acne red marks... used the Lactic Acid one.

cool thing was that it i had these a zit and it basically dissolved most of it after a minute - like it went from a bump to something pretty flat which is cool but woah is this stuff ever powerful. anyways, i'm hoping this does what i want for the post acne red marks because if this doesn't work i'm convinced that i'll have to live with them forever.

glad you had good results!!

have patience, and they will work. it just takes some time, don't use a peel more than 1x a week though!

I think i will try lactic after my glycolic sample is finished. Glycolic isn't that bad but i tend to get blushed and dry afterwards.

I ordered the lactic 40% peel, but have a question: how long after you rinse your face do you apply moisturizer?
