When the winter time comes, I find that I need to use a moisturizer on my face before I go to bed because the steam heat in my house dries out my face. I have a humidifier but I got tired of cleaning the darn thing (fear of mold) and stopped using it.

Even at 43, I still have this oily t-zone that is prone to occasional pimples & blackheads if you can believe that.

What's a good lightweight moisturizer for older skin that won't clog pores (non-comedogenic, if I'm spelling it correctly) that will moisturize but not let me wake up with an slick greasy face and hairline (although I do wash my hair every day anyway, but still).

Thanks!

I love Eminence Rosehip Whip Moisturizer! It's a lightweight moisturizer that mattes the skin so it helps with my oily t-zone. I put it on my cleansed skin every night before bed and never wake up with an oily residue which always happened to me with everything else I tried. It's recommended for oily, sensitive, mature, and rosecea skin types. It's kinda expensive so my esthetician gave me a few samples of it and I still have quite a bit left because it doesn't take much. I am definitely gonna buy a jar when my samples run out because it's the best moisturizer i've ever found for my skin.

Hi Amethyst, i would love to recomend you try Gale Hayman's skincare products. I think you will be impressed. QVC sell her skincare and their moisturiser called 24/7 Moisture Complex might be perfect for your skin.It provides skin with moisture 24/7..lol and is enriched with a special vitamin complex and derivatives from plants and flowers and the sea! This cream is a wonderful all rounder,it is great as a moisturiser, anti wrinkle cream, throat cream and makeup base. But i have just realised i am so excited with this forum i am jumping way ahead. May i suggest you try Simply Beautiful Cosmetics Collagen Gel, which is perfect for nighttime. Amethysit this product is beautiful and is used in salon's...also i can guarantee any woman who tried this gel will become addcited to it!

Look out for my Gale Hayman Reviews coming soon for more info.

Hi Amethyst, i was was watching the Liz Earl show on QVC last night and i you asking about something that was light weight and won't block pores. Liz Earl mentioned her Light moisturiser which i thought might be nice for yourself. I noticed she has different combination's of for oily/combination and Dry/Sensitive skin. It might be worthwhile having a look on her website to learn more about her products. They are naturally active and very reasonably priced.

Lisa - thx for the info - def one I should check out as I have the same problems of easily clogged pores / oily t-zone.
