I started using Cetaphil cream, but it's way to oily for use in the daytime. I'm usually in a rush when I'm getting ready, so I don't have time to sit around & wait for the cetaphil cream to absorb into my skin as much as it needs to before applying my makeup. I want something I can put on [that is good for dry skin, around my nose is always so dry], that won't make my makeup all cakey when I put it on a few minutes later [i usually put on my moisturizer, then spray my hair with a leave in conditioner & comb it out, then do my makeup]. I use mineral makeup usually if that makes any difference. I had been using the MK Timewise but it does NOTHING for my dry skin and lately has made my face all itchy [i know that the MK is the problem considering on days I don't put on makeup I would still put this on & had the same problem.] I want something fairly inexpensive [nothing like $50 for one bottle]

Have you tried Olay Complete? I know many on here love the Olay line, and you can get it in different formulas suited to your skin tone....plus, it's not that expensive....(about $10).

Are you sure you need to use moisturizer? I have oily skin and I use a moisturizer with spf in am, before applying make up. I don't use moisturizer in pm.

In the summer, when my skin become really oily, I stop using moisturizer altogether. I rely on my makeup with spf to protect my skin.

There are moisturizers geared toward oily skin. Neutrogena and olay have good ones.

What abput Cetaphil daily moisturizer. If you want, check out my reviews. I have oily skin and this is the best product I have found and it's gentle on the skin!

I like to shop at the natural grocery stores and I use an oil that is good for massaging, mosturizing, make up removal, etc. . It's made from natural oils, but I can't think of the name right now. If you go to Whole Foods or another store like that it is right there with the makeup and mosturizers.

I have dry skin too and this has worked the best for me when applying my makeup. My Avon daytime mosturizer makes my makeup too wet or gloppy.

Use Mario Badescu moisturizer. that's the best for my skin. You can ask them what's best suited for your skin because they recommend for my oily face the oil free moisturizer. I bought two from them1 is for my morning moiturizer with SPF and the other one is the plain one. What I like with their moisturizer is it's not greasy and it has the SPF with Parsol
