Hi There,

Does anyone found mineral makeup that works with oily skin? I've tried bare minerals, but the coverage sucks and it makes my skin more oily!!! The best mineral makeup I found was when I ordered sheer cover off the tv! its coverage was fantastic!!!!! but when my skin got oily the makeup would turn orange a little so I returned it, and I have Jane irradiate compact mineral makeup, but my skin gets more oily with that too Crying or Very sad what can I do?

Thanks and Regards

Stephen John

Get a tube of Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Relief Powder-Gel, use a pea size amount and apply it as facial primer before applying your mmu.  The stuff is great at keeping oil from coming thru.  Its only around $6 but many including me swear by it.  I've been using it for almost 2 years now.

I have oily skin and I love mineral makeup! I've found a routine that works for me that makes my makeup last alllll day.

1. Moisturizer

2. MAC Oil Control Lotion

3. MAC Mattifying gel (or any of my other silicon primers)

4. I've been using ELF Personal Blend and it covers verrrrry well. I have a ridiculously red patch of breakouts on my left cheek right now and you can't see them at all. I buff in a few layers with a large kabuki, then pat on the foundation with a concealer brush over zits and under my eyes.

5. Lightly dust or pat on some silica powder. I've been using ELF's HD powder. It absorbs oil and pairs really well with mineral makeup.

I still blot maybe 1 or 2 times per day, but when I DON"T use a primer or silica powder, I'm blotting 5 or 6 times a day.

Maybelline Mineral Powder, No Doubt. It absorbs all the extra oil on your face and evens out perfectly after application.
