okay, its getting cold, the face is getting flaky...

whats a good at home microdermabrasion kit that i could try..

i have oily skin in summer , little bit dryer in the winter..i'm using tarzanoc right now too..

i'm debating between, loreal, olay micro and peel, and ponds....

any input?

Well, I got the L'Oreal one and it didn't do crap. My personal opinion is that nothing you can do at home is going to come out nearly as good as what you'll get if you go to a spa or doctor's office. Have you checked the reviews section on here?

Yeah I would agree the L'oreal one isnt great. It works like a very good facial scrub though, Im trying to finish mine up now by using it every other day on fine lines etc...

My fave so far is Origins Microdelivery peel - its pricier than the others you mentioned but also has a vitamin c thing that I think helps get that fresher look with this kit.

Though I hear good things about the Olay kits! Good luck!

I also like epidermx II. I have also read some good reviews on the Ponds microdermabrasion. I might try that next. I read the reviews on makeupalley. Check it out!

I was interested in getting into microdermabrasion and read lot of reviews.

I decided not to go for it after reading that it's problematic for acne-prone people (and i'm one of those)... that microdermabrasion caused more breakouts?

Try aubreynicole.com They have alot of skin care products besides just mineral makeup. They have both a glycolic acid peel and a microdermabrasion kit that are pharmaceutical strength. I've tried the neutrogena and another store bought kit and don't really feel they did a thing. I've been thinking about getting the glycolic peel kit from the aubrey site, have gone and looked at it several times...think I may just go ahead and order it.

Well i've tried a few so here are my suggestions

L'Oreal - is okay but a bit too harsh and the lotion is worthless, it smells really strong of alcohol.

Oil of Olay - This also was too harsh, and when you put the second step on it burns a little bit. My face looked good at first and then it starting irritating really bad.

Nuetrogena - the stuff is really oily, the wand thing isn't good at all. It vibrates instead of rotating. After washing I felt like I had a film on my face.

Ponds - is what I am using now. I really like it. I don't use the sponge deal though, just my hands a couple of times a week. Works really well, haven't broken out and doesn't not dry my face out.

So far that is all I have tried, I just don't have money for the expensive ones.

I'm currently using and Loving Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion in a Jar. Expensive but lasts forever. However, i think i wanna try out something cheaper when my MDB in a Jar runs out :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I got Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasian in a Jar, but I haven't tried it yet. One product I do like is the md skincare alpha/beta daily face peel. It's hard describe non-quantifiable factors such as luminosity, skin tone, pore size, etc, but I dont find it to be irritating at all and I do think my skin looks smoother.

I've tried at-home treatments as well as in-spa treatements, and in all honesty, neither worked as well as a mixture of a gentle cleansing lotion (like Cetaphil) combined with a few pinches of baking soda. I have very flaky skin and this mixture works like a charm.

mary kay time wise microdermabrasion is good and you can buy it on ebay sometimes as the sample packets and see if you like them before you buy the actual thing.
