-There are lists of facts that people don’t know, what to know, and need to know. Here are some:

Menopause can bring aging. It comes from a menopausal woman’s drop in estrogen levels.

This has been proven by skin scientists.

The negative effects include lines or wrinkles, redness or pigmentation problems, dry skin, and dull skin tone.

The loss of estrogen can negatively effect virtually every structure in a woman’s skin.

Hormone (estrogen) supplements are available for women to eternally replace lost estrogen.

Hormones, however, are illegal in cosmetics, and European skin scientists have discovered that a special extract from the soybean plant’s inner cell wall has estrogen-like properties.

-I’m research companies right now that are doing something to help. If you’re concerned with you skin at all, then keep reading.

Reviva Labs have blended the imported, patented soy extract with special essential oils, into a light, silky lotion called “Soy Rejuvenating Serum.â€

Research shows that this exclusive soy serum contains genistein-rich isoflavones, the key to its estrogen-like effects.

Studies have also shown that the soy serum, when applied on the face, throat, and hands, morning or night for six weeks, will increase skin elasticity 26.9%.

The face wrinkles become smoother. Crow’s feet and lines near the mouth or above the upper lip

gain effective results. Skin texture and tone are also improved.

Some soy food supplements have proven their genistein/ isoflavones content produce an estrogen-like effect. Reviva Labs soy serum externally produces a similar phenomenon.

I’m going to look into this more. It sounds like they’re doing something right.

PLEASE do not by estogen in stores or use them. 99% of the time a woman's body is overloaded with too much estrogen and can cause lots of side effects. I have a presentation we teach at hormone classes and seminars that I will gladly email you the information for free. Too much estrogen can cause serious health issues. I get alot of my information from Dr. John Lees research and an organization that teaches health professionals.

I can also send you website and book referrals to do your own research. Estrogen (aka HRT's and birth control) was also warned via media of its dangers and side effects of heart attacks, blood clots ect....

You can also visit my website below for more information on hormones.

PLEASE educate yourselfs, your body is important.

Here is a very small example of what I have: this is from Dr. Osborn

How Hormones are Suppose to Work in our Bodies

There are 2 hormones in our bodies: Estrogen and Progesterone.

A. Estrogen – 3 types: Estrone, Estrodiol and Estriol

•Estrone and Estrodiol are in lower or lesser concentration. Both are stronger estrogens and are more likely to cause cancer.

•Estriol is in higher concentration and is the safer estrogen. Dr. John Lee has coined this estrogen as the “designer estrogenâ€.

Estrogen’s Job in our Bodies – As a reproductive hormone, its job is to grow the lining of the uterus. It tells cells to multiply and divide so that if an egg were fertilized, it would have an appropriate place to implant itself. Estrogen does this job during the first part of a woman’s cycle.

Estrogen is a reproductive and growth hormone.

B. Progesterone

•Comes during the middle of cycle when the woman ovulates. Progesterone is responsible for increased sex drive at mid-cycle.

•Its job is to oppose the estrogen. It tells estrogen that the lining in the uterus is good and stops estrogen’s process of multiplying and dividing

•Gets its name from “progestation†meaning pregnancy. It is the pregnancy hormone.

•In the last trimester, a woman produces up to 400 mg of Progesterone per day.

•Progesterone is necessary for woman’s body to maintain pregnancy. Frequent trimester miscarriages are often due to low progesterone level

•Progesterone plays in the development of the nervous system.

Ways Hormones Become Imbalanced

1. Prescription Synthetic Hormones

•Birth Control Pills – Over time women may notice inability to handle stress, not able to sleep well, depression or hot flashes. Doctors may diagnose PeriMenopausal and prescribed HRT

•Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) – According to the American Heart Assoc. HRT is very dangerous to the heart.

2. Diet – Chicken, beef and pork are often fed with estrogen to promote growth to get livestock quickly to the market.

•Dairy Farmers also feed estrogen to cows to increase production.

** Twenty years ago the average age for a woman to begin menstruating was 14. Today the average is 10.7 years. This is the result of consumption of hormone-induced diets.

3. Environment

A. Petrochemicals

•Dr. John Lee refers to these as “false†estrogen

•Toxic to humans

•Have ability to bind to estrogen receptors and mess up the body.

a. pesticides, fungicide, dry cleaning solutions, chemical household products, plastics, mineral oil/baby oil,

** When plastic is heated in the microwave, dioxins are released into the air and into the food. Dioxin is considered the most toxic man-made substance.

** The World Health Organization list Mineral Oil as a carcinogen (a cancer causing substance).

** The U.S. government did a study on 3,000 chemicals found in everyday cosmetics and personal care products such as body lotions, moisturizers, makeup, etc.

•Findings showed that 1 out 3 of the chemicals were toxic enough to kill if in the right concentration.

•1 out of 10 could cause cancer or a birth defect

•1 out of 11 could cause reproductive problems

•98% of personal care products contain mineral oil

** The medical field has known for years that the skin is an excellent vehicle to penetrate the body.

** According to the EPA, it takes 26 seconds from the time you put a toxic substance on your skin for it to be absorbed into the body and reach all major organs.

** Estrogen is “fat-lovingâ€. It stores itself in fat tissues in the body such as the breast.

•After a mastectomy, if the breast tissues are examined, traces of all the carcinogenic substances are found

4. Stress

•When stress occurs, our adrenal glands produces cortisol to beat stress. The building block for cortisol is progesterone. The body uses cortisol to fight stress. If all the progesterone is used to produce cortisol, no progesterone is left to fight Osteoporosis.

•Low levels of progesterone cause osteoporosis.

If you want to be tested do not do a blood test, get a saliva hormone test, these are accurate.

I wanted to add this....

Q: What is estrogen dominance?

A: The term "estrogen dominance," is to describe what happens when the normal ratio or balance of estrogen to progesterone is changed by excess estrogen or inadequate progesterone. Estrogen is a potent and potentially dangerous hormone when not balanced by adequate progesterone.

Both women who have suffered from PMS and women who have suffered from menopausal symptoms, will recognize the hallmark symptoms of estrogen dominance: weight gain, bloating, mood swings, irritability, tender breasts, headaches, fatigue, depression, hypoglycemia, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and fibrocystic breasts. Estrogen dominance is known to cause and/or contribute to cancer of the breast, ovary, endometrium (uterus), and prostate.

There are lots of symptoms that are related to estrogen dominence and I myself had most of them and almost died. I have met thousands of woman who suffered with this as well and I am very passionate about educating others on this. Please read and learn more.

PS...Take The Test . . . ! DO ANY OF THESE SOUND FAMILIAR? *Irregular Cycles *Bloating *Migraine Headaches *Hot Flashes *Mood Swings *Cramps *Uterine Fibroids *Depression *Insomnia Fatigue "Allergies *Irregular Menstrual Flow *Facial Hair *Bone mass depletion *PMS *Fibrocystic Breasts *Acne *Risk of Miscarriage *Thinning Hair *Elevated Blood Pressure *Osteoporosis *Unexplained Weight Gain *Memory Loss There are well over 80 symptoms associated with hormone balance. If you have 3 or more of these symptoms, you may have estrogen dominance.

I have perimenopausal skin and have been using Organic Complexion products from HSN. I really like the way my pores look smaller and I don't have issues with the t-zone.

I have read some stuff about soy and I'm hesitant to use in internally, but I think it does work well in skin care products.

Lots of soy info can be found here: http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/soy.htm

Great website!

Now on my website below we have a cream call Prolief which is a bio identical progesterone hormone that is trans dermal. It is only sold in the US at this time but I found great relief with it. You can find some in health food stores as well but not exactly like ours or with the same results. Ours was created by the pioneer in womans health Dr.Joh Lee (who has no conections with our company). He was looking for a company who would want to do it for the good of woman, he knew our companies President and they made it happen.

Since I was 27 when I became ill I did not think it was hormones. I taught the classes and shared the research. I listened to womans horror stories and they thanked me when they came back to visit and tell their stories. I learned to listen to my body and research things before using them.

Here in the US are soy is not like soy from other places. It really is not good for us. I was told it was the way it is processed into foods alone causes alot of problems with our help. I tried to find the article someone gave to us and I could not so sorry I can not explain it better.

Thank you again for the website, I am adding it to my list of websites to share.

I definitely have estrogen dominance and have experienced a lot of those symptoms. I still get migraines, but most of the other symptoms have improved. I tried Pro-Gest cream a few years ago, and it made my periods very long and frequent. I would be afraid to try anything else without having my hormone levels tested and I would get natural hormones from a compounding pharmacist like Suzanne Somers talks about in one of her books.

I have a lot of success in managing symptoms just from dietary changes such as switching to mostly organically raised food, limiting sugar and getting rid of parasites. I started using coconut oil for cooking and skin moisturizer.

The 10 lbs I gained since quitting smoking and beginning menopause is slowly coming off and I feel so much better. I felt the biggest difference when I started getting rid of parasites with a zapper and herbs. http://zap.intergate.ca/ I bought my zapper on ebay, but this website has a lot of good information. I know, it sounds crazy, but it has made a huge difference in the way I feel.

Hello, My name is Kitty and I am new here. I would like you to type in Dr. Mercola in your search engine to bring up his sight. It is a wealth of information on medical imaginable. Type in Soy at the top of his hompeage and you will be surprised the harmful effects of soy on the body.

I use some of his information in my trainings! He has some wonderful information.

I too manage mine with organic foods, and less sugars and getting ready to do a parasite cleanse.

My hormones are natural but I am not up to leaving a pharmacist to mixing for me. I almost bleed to death twice, cried about everything, gained alot of weight, had adult acne, and could not sleep. In two months I have had no more problems. (That was three Septembers ago...)

I reccomend you go to http://www.johnleemd.com and look for the book, "What your doctor May or May not tell you about premenopause". He is a real doctor and the pioneer in womans health. He passed away a few years ago.

I always reccomend my clients to go to john lees website, order a saliva test, when results come in I give them lots of information to share with their doctor and sometimes the video that educates doctors from a non profit organization called the seventh woman. (They educate doctors.) Some decide to try it on their own and others follow my instructions. It is their options in the end.

All I know is research and educating yourself is the most important thing of all. Many of years womans bodies were destroyed by doctors giving them estrogen. Saliva test are the only accuate testing to see what you need. (EX. If you were pulling in the parking lot and someone cut you off, your hormone levels change in your blood.)

I love sharing information,

Thank you,

Ann Phelps

I tried giving up my HRT because of a strong family history of breast cancer. I felt SO OLD. I might live longer without HRT, but I'd probably kill myself. Or someone else would kill me. I might try to get off again, someday, or not. I'm an RN so I know all the risks---not wanting to live anymore outweighs them all. The inability of the medical community to come to a definitive conclusion after years of research would seem to back up the notion that every woman needs to be informed enough to make her own decision.
