Does anyone use skin care products by mario badescu?

I've used topical treatments by this company & Love them, but now I see they have an acne facial cleanser. I am tempted to try this & pick a toner too. Just wanted to see what those who've tried this company's skin care products thought of them.

They sent me a free sample of their oil free moisturizer & I've been using it & like it, so I just need to pick a facial cleanser & toner. So many choices!

I emailed them & asked for free samples of the acne facial cleanser, glycolic foaming cleanser, special cleansing lotion C, & the special glycolic cleansing lotion.

I m currently using their Acne Facial Cleanser and here is my review: for me the best cleanser that I have used so far, it contains BHA or salicylic acid, the only thing that keeps my skin clear, a very efficient and fuss free cleanser, it doesnt foam either which is a plus point for me otherwise it dries out my skin!

I've never tried any of that brand, but I've heard great things about it! Let us know how it works for you!

Well, I'm not sure which toner you're talking about but I've tried the Cucumber lotion and I was so disappointed with it, as well as most of MB products. The toner for instance has a lot of alcohol and irritants in it, and it just made my skin worse.

Most of his products contain quite primitive ingredients. Of course, what doesn't work for me, might work for you. Good thing you asked for samples :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

After looking at MB's ingredients and sampling them (you can email them and bug em for free samples) I decided I'd rather make my own, it's easy to, and I won't be putting preservatives on my face.

Is it just me or do they dry out for no reason?? I have a bunch of little samples and I just used the drying mask not even 2 weeks ago and it's dried up and stuck to the container. Ugh.

the drying lotion has saved me and my face from zits.

i am so not joking (it also lasts forever too).

you but it on at night and wake up to the zit either gone or almost gone!

i cant think of life without it now!

i ordered a bottle of the acne cleanser with salicylic acid. anyone have any experience with this one?

MB sent me lots of samples and I have to say that unfortunately I was disappointed with most of them... I haven't tried the particular cleansers you listed though, so perhaps those are great. Let us know when you get your samples!

I've used the Glycolic Foaming Cleanser and it's just okay. I have some acne that I'm trying to clear up and this has done nothing to help it. I can tell, tho, that it is exfoliating so if you want it for that purpose it would be good. Also, it doesn't really foam like the title would lead you to believe. It's more of a light lather. Don't know if that is important to you or not.

I am currently using Mario Badescu products. I switch between the enzyme cleanser, acne cleanser and the glycolic cleanser. I use the acne cleanser when my face is breaking out. For the glycolic cleanser I use it twice a week. I use more of the enzyme cleanser. These products work really well on my skin. For the toner I use the special cucumber lotion since i tend to break out and have normal/oily skin. At night I also use the acne serum and the paula choice AHA and BHA. My skin has cleared up soo much. I'm really happy with Mario products. Give it some time for the products to adjust to you r skin.

i use the enzyme cleanser, the glycolic wash ( only 3x/week), the cucumber toner, rosehip oil, and seaweed night cream. I love this line and it has kept my skin looking great and acne free.

I use Mario Badescu's enzyme cleansing gel, which I couldn't be happier with. I saw a difference in my skin within 3-4 weeks from the time I started using it. I have combination skin (oily on my t zone) thats prone to breakouts, and prior to using this cleanser it was always dry and irritated from the harsh ingredients in most anti-acne cleansers. So I chose this one because its super simple...it only has like 5-6 ingredients, the primary ones being glycerin and water...which are very gentle on the skin, yet the fruit acids in it clear away dead skin cells. As a result, I'm left with more even, soft skin. I still have to use an acne cream to spot treat, but I'd highly recommend checking out this cleanser. I have also tried the acne cleanser in the MB line of products, but found it to be too harsh for my skin, and I tried their healing and soothing mask and a couple of their moisturizers but was disappointed with those as well (most have urea in them, which I'm sensitive to). I'd like to add, that if anyone is looking for a "setting" spray for their mineral makeup or powder, definitely check out mario's rosewater spray...its awesome and smells heavenly.

It took about a month or so for my face to see a difference. You have to be consistent with using the products. I also use the AHA and BHA along side with the mario badescu products and i think that helps a lot too.

I LOVE Mario Badescu everything. Especially the honey moisturizer. The enzyme cleansing lotion is great too. I never tried any of his products for acne, because I never get it... but I did buy his drying lotion if i ever need to zap a pimple away.
