Hi,

I have heard many good things about his products. I looked at his website and here are the products that the site recommended for couperose skin.

Keroplast Cleansing Lotion, Kera moist cream, and Azulene calming mask.

I was wondering if anyone else has tried or used these.

My skin is dry, prone to redness and broken capillaries, sensitive.

I also wondered if the Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Relief Powder-Gel would work as a primer with my type skin. Any help or info anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

You can fill a profile on the Mario site and they will send you samples according to your skin type.

I've tried some products from that line, and I loved them! They were great! I just can't afford them regularly..I haven't tried the specific things you mentioned though but most of their products are excellent. I don't know about the Monistat gel, if your skin is sensitive I wouldn't use it.

Thank you Marisol and Kam for replying so quickly!

Marisol, I tried to submit the questionaire but had some trouble with the site. I am not on a regular computer so some sites won't work for me. I was thinking maybe if I called them and mentioned the touble, maybe they would still be able to send me samples. I dont know.

Kam, I have heard that the products are really good and yes the price is a problem. I thought if I just got the main problem healed then I could find something else that is more reasonable pricewise. This skin problem is very new and I am just so upset that I want to try anything right now.

I am glad I asked about the monisat stuff, since at times even water causes irritation (the water in my area is very hard), so I am uneasy about trying anything.

Right now I am very confused after reading discussions on different boards and also reviews on products. I do appreciate both of you helping with the info.

Thanks again.

peace, love light

Try them out! They are very generous.

Yes, they give away samples, I liked their products though but not too impressed with it now.

Okay, I need to fill out a profile for some samples... I'm quite happy with DHC, but I'm still checking things out for when those samples are out.

I love Mario Badescu. I ordered the samples (and they accidentally sent them to me twice) and the glycolic face wash and cucumber lotion are my favorites. They're finally making my skin not as bumpy. I have to get the full size products once my samples run out.

i think they have some good stuff. i like to buy things person though, not by mail which is why its been a while since i've bought from them. also its a pain to return mail orders if i'm unsatisfied. And I think the prices are actually quite good because lately i've gotten used to buying skincare at Sephora which tends to be more pricey.

i LOOOOOOVE Mario Badecsu products! I am quite the junkie with the entire line, truth be told!

crimsonangel if you live anywhere near a Nordstrom that carries the line, they are also very generous with samples. i wholeheartedly agree with Marisol, call if you can't fill out the online profile. they have good customer service in my experience.

Thank you all for your help and for being so nice. I appreciate it.

I am going to call tomorrow for sure. When I first looked at the products on the site I had a good feeling about them and now with all the wonderful things you all have said, I am very excited and confident to try them.

I wish I could go in person to a store that carries them, but in my area we have no place that carries any decent stuff. Plus, my transportation is very limited so that is why I shop online.

It has been a godsend to have this forum to get info and help.

Thank you all again.

I will keep you posted on what happens.

Peace Love Light

I wanted to wait till I recieved and used the products for a few days before posting. I was very excited to be able to call them and they were very nice. I was very surprised that they did NOT even charge me for shipping costs!

I finaly got them and the sizes were very nice. First, I smelled each one, since I have problems with fragrances in skincare and makeup. They had a nice aroma and I also tested each on my arm to make sure I would not have a reaction. The only thing that I was surprised at is that the did not include the moisturizing cream we had discussed, but I still went ahead and used the products I had.

I really wanted to like these and had hopes that I had found the poducts that would end my search. Well, after using them, first, my skin was drier than when I started. Also, the areas that were rough before, are now rougher. Then my eyes started to tear and I had to take an antihistamine since my face started to react and get redder.

While it did not cause my skin to have any burning sensation or breakout, it did cause my problems to appear worse.

I really thought that these would help but I feel sad that I am starting from ground zero now. Maybe my best bet is to use very very natural things like yogurt and honey and maybe some oils. I dont know.

Right now I am upset with myself since my skin feels worse and looks worse.

I know it is not the fault of the product but I should know better by now.

I appreciate the replies from you all.

The search continues....

Sorry their product didn't work for you!

I think I have found my HG skincare line!!

Here is my review on some products:

* Acne Facial Cleanser: for me the best cleanser that I have used so far, it contains BHA or salicylic acid, the only thing that keeps my skin clear, a very efficient and fuss free cleanser, it doesnt foam either which is a plus point for me otherwise it dries out my skin.

* Special Cucumber Lotion: a very refreshing toner, I thought I could do without a toner but it seems my skin likes it more when I use one.

* Buffering Lotion: this one is against cystic acne, it works really wonders for me. Very efficient in clearing them up. The only downside on this, is the applying method. I have to use cotton balls otherwise it gets really messy and wasted but the best is to use your hands then product is more efficient. I would buy again when its finished but I dont think I ll have to in a long time because there is a lot of product and only need to use a tiny bit each time.

Using these combined with some other products my skin have not looked better since I cant even remember when!

I m also very interested to try their Seaweed Cleansing Lotion, Special Healing powder, Silver powder, Calming Azulene mask & Anti-acne serum.

you can fill out a questionarre & it will tell you what products will be good for you, but the samples they send are not guaranteed to work with your skin type, which is total nonsense in my opinion.

having said that I do use some of the acne products & they are the best I've found.

I use their stuff and I love it! And I actually found that the prices are really reasonable for the size of the bottle that you get. They have lasted me a really long time, too, with daily use. The only thing that I see running out quicker than the other products is the Collagen Moisturizer, followed by the Special Cucumber Lotion (toner). But the rest of the stuff will last me a loooong time! Definitely try their samples!
