Well, i just discovered that Lush has stores here in Brazil and they have a virtual store that you can order their products! Yay!

But the nay of the story: the shipping IS TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE! Like that, the Rock Star soap costs 13 reais (around 5,50 dollars), but the shipping to my city costs 33 reais (around 15 dollars)!

Bummer. I wanted so much to try, because i thought it isn't "Oh my god , that's friggin expensive, they want to rip me off", but "Oh, it's more expensive than i'm used to, but not that much"

EDIT: actually, i just noticed that some products on brazilian Lush are actually CHEAPER than US ones (like rock star soap, here is around 5-6 dollars, and in USA is 7,5 dollars). Awesome if the shipping wasn't a rip off

15 dollars? even within your country? that's crazy. I haven't got any Lush thing yet, I don't know why I'm not attracted to that brand even though I've never tried it.

I find that if I place a large order, the s&h doesn't go up in proportion to the higher dollar amount. I have noticed that it is too high if I were to order just 1-2 items. I would recommend that you go through the website and familiarize yourself with the products and if you find yourself in the store in Brazil, then you can buy the items there and try them out. They may even give you samples on some of the items.

So far, for me, I have been very satisfied with the majority of everything I have bought from LUSH.

The big big biiig problem is that the nearest store is located as far as a 3h trip by PLANE - it's on Brasilia, the country capital (like Washington is the capital of USA) - and more than 1 day (24h) of road trip. The main store is located in Sao Paulo, which the distance from here is like i lived in West Coast and Sao Paulo were in the East Coast.

I just discovered LUSH and I liked their products. Do you have anyone that lives in that city that could buy the items and ship them to you? Maybe then the shipping cost would be cheaper.

I've never tried anything by LUSH, so I'm not sure about their products. That stinks shipping costs that much even within your country though!

I "think" that it won't ship from her country. I think a mail order will ship from Canada. Don't hold me to that, though...

I think it'd come from Sao Paulo. I imagine that the packaging must be something different, because here is a hot country. Otherwise, it wouldn't have a reason to be so expensive... And even if it came internationally, the shipping should be around 10 dollars to everywhere in Brazil. To São Paulo costs 8,90, here costs 33 reais ¬¬ rip off.
But i'll start to make my own soaps with local oils, will become a great store and will give Lush

im so tempted to try their bedtime balms, they apparently work well and are only $8, i go by the store everytime i go to the mall then never think to go check until i get home

that is a shame about the shipping! i don't blame you for not wanting to spend so much - you would be spending almost as much to ship as the product!

I've only tried their body and hand cream and I don't really like it.

ETA FREE S&H on LUSH orders (ground) when you order > $99. I put the announcement in full on the coupon board.
